Love me some Jasmine Cephas Jones and she killed it in this episode. Anthony Ramos how did you fuck that up.

The astromechs are really nice to doling out AP, probably replace my Jae w/ one of them. So much better about putting down overwatches at the end of my turn when i've got some free AP to give people.

Unnecessary upgrades are a go! Got a UCG Fiber and a USW Pro Max 16. Retiring my UDM Pro and upping my network throughput to 2.5g for the more active clients. Will be able to leverage faster fiber now, too. Capped at 1gb right now because of a trunk setup I had to put in place because of...

Been having fun w/ it, on cycle 9 I think. Encountered a Jedi, but haven't recruited one.

Kind of want John's dad to be the/a manhunter, playing a long game to destroy the Lanterns by getting his son into their ranks or something. Don't feel like he's had enough screen time though.

Well that sucks, appears my little Minisforum NAB9 died overnight. Won't boot. Was a refurb so I'm probably 4 months out of warranty... bet it's cheaper to just buy another barebones and move the storage / RAM over than to have them repair it, but we'll see what they say. Tried an...

My Steam controller reservation originally said est December 2026, but got the email yesterday to order it.

Well, that was a lot.

This month's Humble Choice

Season finale preview. The 4th / final season is expected to begin shooting early next year.

Going to post this here since working at a comic shop is why I knew who the guy was, between posters, trading cards, etc. After a Parkinson's diagnosis, Boris Vallejo is retiring at 85. Hello everyone! I have an announcement to make and feel now is the time as we’ve received so many kind...

This is probably my favorite Tom Holland Spider-Man movie. Sure it was great to see the other Peter Parkers in 2, but this was great for the same reason I thought Thunderbolts was - it was just a good movie that also had superheroes in it, instead of a story with kid gloves on for all ages...

This wave-based mode came out today, as a standalone SKU w/ a discount for existing owners (via the bundle). Still pretty expensive for what's included, most of my group is passing for now because it's max 2 players. Enjoying it for what it is, but I'd probably wait until they demonstrate they...

Jeff Hays has been cast as the voice of Princess Donut for the Peacock show. https://variety.com/2026/tv/news/dungeon-crawler-carl-tv-series-princess-donut-jeff-hays-1236819828/?utm_id=97760_v0_s00_e0_tv4

Tried to start listening to the Bobiverse books. Have always been interested because those first few chapters really grabbed me but would always get distracted and end up not resuming. Love Ray Porter too, because Project Hail Mary. But man, now that I've gotten deeper, I couldn't care less...

These are on my the server i moved to, lol. This was the mess of my friend's base that we never ultimately finished.

I yolo'd into this last week because a friend fired it up - last time either of us played was a couple years ago. Bear druid is so much fun, just now entering Act 3. So many fights I remember having to do over and over as a bad with whatever I played before, and the bear just stomps over most...

Yeah, I normally hate that method of storytelling (flashbacks in particular) but they are doing a good job of layering the reveals and giving us the breadcrumbs about how they're related to each other.

S1 is complete. Here's an interview w/ the creators (Gemini summary follows): This episode of The Watch podcast, hosted by Andy Greenwald, is broken into two main segments: a breakdown of the 2026 Emmy nominations and an interview with the co-creators of Apple TV+'s Star City. 2026 Emmy...

Ah, looks like it leaked or whatever over the weekend.

Is ep2 out somewhere?

I really liked this ship. Was doing really well but just couldn't get enough resource production for longer fights. Just had my first 10-0 run... never played as this guy before, first time ever learning into rust and stuff and only had like 1 gun most of the run that he was upgrading for...

I only do randoms too, but I had the trinket that let me get salvage from defeated ships, so saw several items new to me that run. lol check out this guy's gun-shaped ship.

Wonkiest ship I've made yet that I just won a run with. I bought that crew thing halfway through and had to rebuild the whole ship to figure out how to use it, lol.

9/22, be here before we know it.

Decent Humble Choice for this month.

The digital release has a commentary from the director, listened to it last night. Not sure if that's only available on certain platforms, bought it on Google and watched it on Apple TV (thanks Movies Anywhere). It had a DVD-like menu to start it, need more of this stuff from digital releases.

Yeah, won like 7 doing the tutorial and then went and bought it. Seems great.

10 hour trial is available for EA Play subs on PC. Enjoying this a lot so far, I really like how the NIL stuff and AD goals differentiate the school and their priorities. Game runs like a damn dream on PC too.

Season finale next week, been a decent first season unless Russian dystopia isn't your thing. Better than the non-space filler in the last couple seasons of For All Mankind that's for damn sure.

First 3 episodes of S2 are out and it's fucking awesome.

Yup. I have it :)

I snagged Save 90% on The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Complete Bundle on Steam Considering these bundles: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/51655/River_Towns__Airborne_Empire/ Been in my cart for a couple days, I already own Airborne Empire https://store.steampowered.com/sub/1111230/...

We'd have a carrier base closer to the fields just before the PVP areas, and a processing base back in the A row. Never really got to enjoy the new containers w/ the DD, has to make a lot of that a breeze. The upgraded capacity of the assault carriers was already a godsend. And by we I mean...

Yeah I'd set something similar like that up as part of our retail base before the server moves as a launching point to be able to grab and go to build out a weekly DD base, but then we never did DD again. Ended up just using it to go and loot decaying bases instead of a bunch of trips in an...

I'd agree if it was happening on other platforms as well, would be an indicator of something unreasonable upstream with licensing - but absent that I put it all on the platform holder offering a lesser experience.

Treasure hunting in the DD (and crashed ships) I recall was one way I got ahead w/ some gear before doing much in DD testing stations - I never did them a much though, farmed one chest once until I died (probably ran out of water during the time I was in world but offline after logging off) so...
