Pirates! is one of my favorite games of all time. I played the hell out of the original on my dad's Tandy, played the hell out Pirates! Gold when it came out, and I bought the modern remake on release day. Ballroom dancing was so fun, I romanced my way across the Caribbean and didn't settle for...

I've always thought F4 are stupid, so I don't miss them and don't care that Marvel doesn't have them. I care about the peripheral characters more like Dr. Doom and Galactus (?).

Best side item at KFC is the potato wedges. If you don't get them you will forever regret your horrible decision.

The Nashville Hot Chicken from KFC looks great. I just saw a commercial for it for the first time this evening.

Yeah, I don't know all the inner workings. I just know that on more than one occasion I've seen a car near the end of the drive thru line when I walked into the place to order, and it was still in the drive thru line when I walked out with my food. Then again, like I said, for some reason my...

It depends on tons of variables which will be faster. My local McDs always has a huge drive thru line, and it is absolutely faster to go in and order, in most cases.

My girlfriend and I recently made the mistake of going to Chic-fil-a on a Tuesday night (i.e., kids night). I wish they had all been locked in their cars.

I'm curious how this will connect to Cloverfield. It's being billed as a "spiritual sequel" to Cloverfield. I think I'd like to have a more direct sequel showing the aftermath after the monster attack. I have a feeling that scene where the girl opens the door is going to be the last 5 minutes...

He was awesome. He was one of those guys who was in such iconic roles, but you always kind of took him for granted or didn't really notice him. I had completely forgotten he was the Sheriff of Nottingham until I read the articles today about his death.

A woman who was on a hiring panel for an interview 3 years ago is now being hired at my current place as my subordinate. Feels good, man.

Panera Bread has the best hot chocolate ever. Also, on the topic of sandwiches, Friendly's turkey club supermelt is the hands down absolute best sandwich I've ever eaten. Even better than the regular supermelt, which is quite an impressive feat.

Kansas City is apparently the Mecca of fast food, so cry me a river!

D.J's mom died, and then her husband died? Her life is full of sadness.

Holiday feasting followed by 8 days of vacation eating. I'm fat(ter).

Yeah but that stuff has no carbs/sugar so you can eat as much as you want. Sugar is poison.

I've never had poop that burns. I've had some gnarly shits, and some extremely painful and bloody ones, but none that ever actually burned. I always thought that was a myth.

I got Yoshi's Woolly World for Xmas and I'm really enjoying it. The best thing is that it's an awesome co-op game, so I've been playing it with my girlfriend. She's not a gamer at all, but she loves the cutesy graphics and the controls are simple enough that she's able to enjoy it. I actually...

This is just a silly thing to say. Walking burns calories like any exercise, even if it isn't an enormous amount compared to other activities. As an anecdotal example, when I moved to the center of a city I lost a considerable amount of weight without changing my diet or doing any other exercise...

If someone's goal is to lose weight and be healthier, increasing activity and controlling diet is more than enough.

Dude is controlling his food intake and being more active. Good on him! If he does more at some point, great. If not, he is still being healthier than most and doing good for his health. Not everyone wants to lift weights, and there are plenty of people who have actually tried it and didn't like...

Joe is awesome. I don't know if its the writing for him, or the actor, but I enjoy every scene he is in. Especially his jovial, infectious laughter. The actor who plays him is definitely head and shoulders above anyone else on the show.

I strongly disagree, and it also depends on what you consider low calorie.

You don't have to give up fast food to lose weight. There are plenty of fast food options for reasonable calories, and you can even fit the calorie bombs into your daily/weekly calorie allotments.

The combat is still complete and utter shit, unfortunately.

Beware au pares will be extremely bangable compared to maids. I work with them a lot and around here they are all early 20s brazilian french and polish girls.

That's a good question, too. I'm working in a field directly related to my bachelor's and master's (applied linguistics), but it took a lot of working unrelated shit jobs to get here. I would imagine that outside of STEM most people aren't working in a job related to their degree.

People who let all their food mix together are the worst kinds of human beings. I judge those slobs at buffets when I see them literally piling food on their plates.

IMO she gave you a reason not to trust her, so you're completely in the right to be wary of her actions and what she says.

The Frosty you get from the key tag is also about the size of a shot glass, so it isn't even worth the fucking trouble of going to Wendy's to get it.

CBS can go fuck itself for pushing their shitty proprietary streaming service. This is the only show I watch that I can't get via Hulu.

Sanity. All cheeses have merit.

No chance, this isnt HBO. It is good TV, but it is still a formulaic network show.

How about you say something about it rather than just posting a shitty picture 99% of us can't read?

I swear a couple months ago I read that this wasn't getting a 2nd season. Anyway, I really enjoyed the first one and I'll give the second season a shot. I'm not sure how it can be nearly as good, since it won't have all the mystery that the first season did as we slowly learned what the hell was...

I thought it was funny that Oliver seems to arrive on his motorcycle to places before-or-simultaneously with Barry. I can just picturing Barry zooming around the city and killing time while he waits for Oliver to drive from place to place.

Pretty much. The only people saying this looks like shit are internet dwellers. Normal people will come to see this movie in droves, and they're super excited about it. I work with more than a dozen middle aged women, and even they were talking about how they're looking forward to this.

Maybe they didn't have any Christmas/Thanksgiving leftovers to bring.

Maybe they're going to pull an Amazing Spiderman 2 and have Wonder Woman's shield block of Doomsday's blast be the closing shot of the movie. Are they still doing that "end each movie on a cliffhanger" plan?

I agree that Doomsday looks kind of silly. That said, I think you're all crazy, and this looks absolutely awesome. I'm super stoked to see this now. I don't mind this. It's not like some semi-obscure Marvel character; everyone knows who Wonder Woman is. I'd rather she just show up and start...

Barbara is going to save both their lives (and thus the unborn baby's life), and it will be Lee's idea to name the baby Barbara.
