I only skimmed the story, but it basically boils down to "guy has no confidence and women can sense it. Guy becomes confident and women can sense it." Confidence is attractive. No shit?

Subsisting on this shit would be a miserable existence. Eating food is one of life's great pleasures, not to mention there is no way this would be as satiating for your body as real food would. Have you ever tried any other meal replacement drinks? There are tons of them on the market, and while...

Is the only merit-based basis for the award a 3.5gpa or higher? It was pretty easy to get a 3.5gpa when I was in school, so it doesn't sound like a very special/exclusive thing.

Panera Bread used to have some really good steak chili with cornbread crumbles. I went last year and they told me they didn't have it anymore, so I'm not sure if it's only a seasonal thing or what. If you happen to see it, I highly recommend it.

I think she looks better in season 3 than she did in 2. In season 2 she just looked kind of anorexic, but at least in season 3 she seems to have put on a bit of muscle in her preparation to play Black Canary.

While it's certainly impressive seeing someone squat super heavy weights, I've always been equally impressed with people who can do amazing body weight stuff like pistol squats. It really just depends on your specific goals. It's always silly to risk injuring yourself doing an exercise just...

This is an interesting question that came up for me recently. What's a normal level of communication when dating and not living together? My girlfriend and I have been together for almost a year now, and we don't talk on a daily basis. Apparently she was out to dinner with her family recently...

The only thing that ad accomplished was to make me want to try a pumpkin peach ale.

So I guess bringing this show back is NBC's attempt to cash in on the current popularity of super heroes in TV and movies. Heroes season 1 came out in 2006, which was 2 years before Iron Man (2008) really launched the barrage of quality super hero movies and TV that we've had for the past few...

Lol at Lily losing the cosplay challenge and crying. Nasa chick continues to be an insufferable cunt. I think, at this point, I am cheering for Amanda to win. She seems fairly likeable and well-rounded enough to do it. Raychelle is my second choice if Amanda somehow gets sent home.

McD's coffee is better than most pricey coffee I've had. It certainly blows away shit like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, at the very least. I love when McDonald's does their 99cent any beverage promotions. Large McD's coffee for 99cents? Yes, please!

I think every fast food place has a handful of items that make it worthwhile to go there. For example, I'd go to McD's if I'm craving a jalapeno double or a bacon habanero ranch quarter pounder. Wendy's if I want a spicy chicken sandwich. Burger King if I want a whopper or the always delightful...

I agree. I don't think he's going to end up being a villain. Especially since the show already has Dottie as a sleeper agent getting close to Peggy. I was happy Charlie (the Emergency Awesome guy) mentioned Peggy's shitty hiding place for the blood. When she put the blood there I literally...

Believe me, I wish I had made it up. If you're ever in Maryland shoot me a PM and we can hit up a Golden Corral together, or other buffet of your choice. All other Rerolled fast food thread bros invited, of course. I also find it hard to believe that anyone could have trouble eating a pint of...

I don't mind Laurel now. She's much more bearable in her current state than she was in the first two seasons. Also, I'm really glad they're showing her screw up and get her ass kicked while she learns how to be a super hero. I normally strongly dislike love triangles and the relationship...

Milk chocolate more or less tastes the same, regardless of where it's made and what company makes it.

To be fair, the roof of my mouth is incredibly sensitive due to decades of being weakened by scalding bursts of pizza roll insides and super hot bagel bite cheese. It's basically exposed nerve endings at this point.

That's another silly complaint. There ARE tons of new (as in not remakes, but based on source material like you said) movies every year. *Edit* 10 seconds of Google searching came up with this list:2014 Movies - Complete List Of All Movies 2014 In TheatersHow many of those are remakes? I...

I really enjoy fruity pebbles as well. I love the way they make the milk taste.

If they can keep up this stellar level of quality they're going to go out with a bang. I think these episodes have been some of the funniest of the series.

People bitching about remakes ruining their childhood is the film house version of the fast food thread's "lol ate taco bell get ready for explosive shits!!!"

You just proved the point I am making. The reason I don't mind remakes is because it brings the old movies back into the spotlight, which means people who might not have ever considered (or even heard of) watching the originals might be like, "Hmm, this new movie was alright, so maybe I'll check...

Cereal like raisin Bran, Frosted Flakes, and other "flaky" styles of cereal are uncomfortable to eat due to the shape of the flakes. It's like eating jagged pieces of glass, and I inevitably end up poking the roof of my mouth with the sharp point of one of them. I prefer the round cereals...

And remaking old movies doesn't change the quality of the originals. They're still there if you want to watch them; go download it or buy the blu ray/dvd. Sequels, yes, I'd agree that they can possibly hurt the originals since they have the opportunity to directly affect and even change the...

No, no, I can kind of poop now. Once I got the flood gates going on Monday, I have been able to squeeze out some minor ones. Since Monday night I have eaten nearly 2 pounds of celery to help get things going.

Lol, maybe if you are doing tons of physical stuff you need to eat that amount. But I assure you there are tons of people who live in -40 temps for large parts of the year without eating much more than you or I would. Anyway, as said already, layers are your friend. This is especially true if...

Pretty sure they already announced they are developing Atom as the next show. Not sure where I heard or read it though.

Rofl Les Vegetables.

Yeah, he didn't take the camera with him when he ran. The point was to show that he was so fast he could get into the picture and back to the camera before it started falling.

I'd agree if it were a case of media/paparazzi being pushy and invading personal lives, but when it's an officially required part of your job you should suck it up and act like an adult. Whether or not media stuff like this should be a required part of the job is a different argument altogether.

I still don't feel 100% right in my stomach/digestive tract. I called up Carefirst today and got access to my account and ordered new healthcare cards. If I don't feel better by next week I'll most likely head to the doctors, because I've never felt this way before. Who knows, maybe I'll end up...

Coffee always works for me. I think my normal workday coffees are the only thing that actually let me force out those monstrosities on Monday. I drank Diet Coke at McD's, BK, and Shane's Rib Shack.

Eh, I disagree. I wouldn't say fans have a "right" to learn about players personal lives, but the fact is that these guys are celebrities, and people are interested in celebrities. It's no different for famous musicians and actors. I can even understand disliking answering media questions, but...

I lost interest in Turn after a couple episodes. In my opinion this is much, much better. Then again, it's a miniseries as opposed to a full series like Turn, so I imagine the story is a lot tighter and things happen a lot more quickly.

I feel the same way about McCarthy. I think she does a great job when she's got someone else to work off of, but she's terribly unfunny when she has to carry the entire comedy load herself. For example, Tammy is pretty much her doing all the comedy, and it's an awful, unfunny movie. I think in...

I don't have a problem with them either remaking the Indy movies with Pratt or doing sequels/prequels. The way I figure it is that the 3 good Indy movies are pretty damn old at this point, and there is an entire generation (or two!) of kids who have never seen them. As long as these movies are...

Well, I think I finally overdid it with my eating. I went on a 4-day fast food/junk food bender from Thursday through Sunday. It started with the BK nuggets I mentioned in an earlier post, and throughout the 4 days included 1.5 gallons of milk, half a box of Hungry Jack pancake mix, 2 sticks of...

Sons of Liberty - Episodes, Video & Schedule - HISTORY.com If you're into historical fiction this is a fantastic show. I've only watched the first episode so far, but the production value, acting, and writing are as good as--if not better than--Vikings. Don't expect any amount of historical...

Living in the D.C. area I know a lot of people who work in various government jobs. I swear, they get more excited about possible snow days than kids do.
