Yeah, freeplay feels pointless to me right now. I would love to see notifications on the map as well as the ability to set a waypoint. Until those happen, i will just avoid freeplay.

Yeah, according to the wiki it's definitely diminish returns. As i understand it, CDR from passives is multiplicative while CDR from gear is additive which would explain why the numbers don't add up. Could be wrong on the CDR from gear part.
