Regarding the "Smooth launch, no really I promise" claim, I don't know how anybody could take anything Matt Firor says seriously after his initial "Nothing new in MMO's" nugget a couple years back. Didn't stop me from buying, and enjoying the time I've had so far though.

Each faction has a ton of travel. Its just the game. You'll spend significantly more time running to and fro, especially if you stop to gather crafting mats, than you will actually fighting. Pvp is a bit better in this regard.

Don't forget the caveat that 5-8ms response times make for a blurry mess in IPS panels. If you're at all sensitive to motion blur in gaming it won't be pretty.

The entire game is themed to be goofy as hell. The tier sets fit right in with the overall aesthetic, for better or worse.
