We got past it, we just hadn't done enough of a thing. We just opened the last box, there's a last game then rules to play non-story games going forward. Its still ok, still look forward to playing it every week but I would not play it again, and I ran through Pandemic Legacy twice.

Found it, it was still more or less together.

It was my first 93-94 deck and I built pretty much what I actually played in 93-94. My second attempt was a B/R Ponza deck (4 Stripmines!) with copper tablets to go with the bolts. It did noticeably better but I don't have a deck pic atm.

Monolith rule was put in place because relic bind + monolith was insta win. there was also a rule for a bit where you could not untap Time Vault any other way but via skipping a turn. Edit heres a nice list of em Power-Level-Errata-B-Gone

The Relic Bind errata did it better, yeah its not on the card but it keeps Monoliths intuitive
