You mean that island just offshore that was shrouded in mist for decades suddenly appearing doesn't seem realistic? Trust me.. Coming up with lore for why this new playspace suddenly exists was painful.. Ultimately the majority of players just don't care why.. They just want new stuff to do.

Just finished the 4th palace (Futaba Sakura).. The game is still weird but incredibly addicting. Ryuji makes me want to punch him in the face repeatedly. Yusuke has to be gay.. It's the only logical explanation.

Destiny still had some of the best moment to moment shooter gameplay ever. They just fucked up a lot of the other stuff.

Making games is hard. I'm done throwing money and game companies before they make a product. Kickstarter and crowd-funding in general for games needs to go away, as does micro-transactions. Make a good game, and I'll buy it. Don't promise me the world with your hand out asking for cash.

The Parkour movement thing was cool, but hardly a 'feature' no matter how much ponytail tried to claim it was. It was just movement. You didn't control it, you didn't do anything to enable it.. It was nothing more than an attempt to show they had been working on things..

I got my New 3DS all done and broken.. Downloaded Ocarina of Time 3D, Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D, Mario Kart 7, Fire Emblem (both games), Dragon Quest 7 & 8.. What essential games am I missing?

She was a sound engineer at SOE/DBG while I was there.. did a lot of stuff for EQ, Free Realms, and others. She wasn't just doing voice acting then but all kinds of sound stuff.

The Dog-Bird thing is the most beautifully animated character I've ever seen in a game. The camera controls are fucking awful. I still can't decide if I like the game or not. It's interesting.. though I'm not playing it much lately.

I still play this occasionally.. I don't really dislike it. It's different and sort of a 'when I feel like it' distraction. It was WAY over-hyped for what was delivered. Good thing this guy didn't collect $150,000,000 like some other crazy over-hyped space game...

I've played FF15 about 8 hours.. So far the combat is fucking awful.. And why am I playing an entire god damned boy band? I really wanted to like the game, but so far it's just awful. I'll still probably force myself to finish it since I bought it.

Between MMO subs and console purchases, I'm at about $200 a month this year, not including the Xbox One S, and PS4 Pro I bought.

Finally finished the main story.. Incredibly well done. I thought the final fight was a bit.. underwhelming. It could have used something more.. I'll probably play it again at some point.. Just kind of wandering around doing little side quests and shit now.
