That post may have been poorly worded.. I was really more looking for info about what it was emulators gave players that we weren't. It was more to see if there wasn't a way to bring that back to actual EQ and attract some of those emulator players back. It got blown way out of proportion IMO...

This game is just fucking fantastic. Absolutely loving it.

The fact of the matter is, Pantheon is being made. Whether it's a good game or not, time will tell, but he is making it at least. The same can't be said for a lot of people, including the EQN team.

They took their shot and it didn't pan out. Happens all the time in business. It's not unique to the game industry. You can either let it crush you, or you can get back up, dust yourself off, and try again. The people who were working for Smed are talented people.. I'm sure they'll find work...
