This to me is the biggest example of DC spectacularly mismanaging their IP on this medium. This could have been a fantastic 2-4 movies and I think it's a worthwhile slog even if you didn't like the original theatrical version. There's a lot to really enjoy here.

I think it's wild how much you can live in an area, I've basically been confined to this area my last 40-50 or so hours of play. Enough content here to justify a full price game, let alone a relatively cheap early access one. And yet it's just such a small part of my world.
