Not sure what you mean. In GW2 you scale down to content in lower level areas. In ESO everything scales to your level (or something). Prepare to get your ass handed to you in Heart of Thorns. Also, the story is significantly better in the living world releases and expansions.

And Condi Renegade is ridiculous. I've tried Condi Scourge but found the Renegade gameplay more engaging. Speaking of open world builds. PVP I'm sure is completely different.

Keep in mind that at 80 you can spec to Elite Professions which completely change the gameplay of a profession. I didn't care for Guardian, for example, but their elite Firebrand is fun (and powerful) as hell.

Not sure why people feel Lost Ark and FFXIV are direct competitors. Lost Ark is a Diablo-esque game, isn't it (just judging from the gameplay videos)? FFXIV obviously has a massive following, but I'm sure there are many players out there like myself that detest Asian MMO look-and-feel.
