Pretty much. Besides, you're using both Altri and Elimo (because you have no other damage mitigator) so you're awfully heavy on the healing side. Maxwells very last stage is basically an enrage timer, you have to kill her fast or she'll revive endlessly on you.

You don't have a Maxwell team until you either have Darvanshel or Oulo. Seriously, don't even bother. If you want to do it without them you have to wait until there's more of these overpowered Grand Gaia spheres out and you have double spheres on your whole team.

That's nice. I'm still frothing at the mouth at this point, this fight is ridiculous. Every turn where Darvanshel isn't ready has an extremly high chance of death and Maxwell just LOVES to focus on one unit. Has anyone in this thread beaten her already?

I really hate how the Maxwell trial just comes down to luck and guessing which point of the bar might be a certain hp treshold. Fight went fairly well in my second try and then I walked into an unmitigated Endless, killing off the whole squad.

I probably end up doing the same, but I'm not so sure on Zelnite. People tend to go nuts over him but he's mostly used in regular questing it seems. You don't really see him in challenge dungeons/trials/FH and this is where you need every single bit of help you can get.

Have you guys decided what you're doing with your imps? I can't decide if I should boost only the very best anima units or if I should use them to help out unit with bad types. My breaker Eltri for instance could use the def imps but I don't want to waste them.

Evolved Zelnite/Darvanshel/Lilly. Now I realise I should have picked up that +def % sphere from the event a few weeks ago, the additional BC generation would have been great as a secondary sphere on Darvanshel :\

Let them expire? You get one almost every day and you're obviously not using them at the same rate as you're getting them. The arena change though just blows. So how does this work? I assume you mean sell 10 different items at once? If I click at an item it just brings up the usual prompt.

Login gifts have been upgraded. There's Burst Frogs now, the honor gift has been doubled to 1k and the metal gods have been replaced with two crystals. I obviously pulled a bunch of shitty flutes but another nice change. The arena point thing doesn't seem to work anymore though

I find status effects rarely stick to bosses so it's a gamble I'm not willing to take. I'd rather work my way around a fight by utilizing my teams SBBs so the Sol Creator is the way to go.

Melchio or the Trees SBB negate status ailments for 3 turns. Or you can bring a status null leader, Darvanshel although only a 5 star right now might be good thanks to his shield. One way or the other, you gotta fill up your BBs, then let everyone attack (they can't die from the reflect) wait...

I'm running Deemo lead with Michele/SGX/Melchio/Luther and a random friend unit. That's full own bb spam with attack and crit up but not enough to completely kill him in one round apparently. The wiki says he's crit immune, is that right? He seems to be one of these bosses who gain huge buffs...

Well shit, Xenon on floor 71-80 is giving me more trouble than the Grand Gaia/Trial of the Gods dungeons. I get close to oneshotting him and then he uses his aoe sbb two times in his turn, wiping out my party. Barely worth the trouble for a single gem.

Honestly, I'd just move on with regular questing for xp if you can handle the zones. There's quite a few ones who have 1.5x xp aswell, so while the energy/xp ratio might not be as perfect as it is in Pillars, you still make plenty of zel/karma/xp and open up zones where useful materials drop...

It should stack actually because it's another source of the buff. I've seen people saying that SGX puts you to the crit-chance cap, not sure on that though. Edit: if that database is correct, then SGX will actually cap you on critchance, so him and Maxwell would be kinda redundant.

Juggernaut went nuts on me and used his 250k multiple times in one round. 25 energy down the drain, thank god it's a fairly cheap dungeon and we have the speed up energy regeneration.

How do you actually get access to the pyramid? I've read you have to pick the serpent staff in the cache to open the pyramids door. I actually picked up the staff but eventually threw the thing away, because it's just a crappy weapon. Please tell me that I don't really need it.

Zebra can be either type but it honestly doesn't matter much. You use him for his leaderskill only, not his other stats. A crit team consists of Zebra lead/Zebra friend and everything that can buff up your damage. So Michele and SGX are a given, Luther and some other high dps unit to fill it...

I fused 120 fodder units into Luther to get his BB from 5 to 6. At least his SBB was fairly quick.

A proper BB spam team will one or two round almost all quest bosses. If you are going to fight something hard (the Grand Gaia dungeons etc.) then you will need a crit team to oneshot it anyways.
