Lots of skills across all classes have been either removed or are locked to certain specs only. I was looking for sunder armor, heroic strike and hamstring everywhere, nevermind stances. The first hours feel pretty weird if you haven't played in years.
Good thing my warrior is an undead, I can finally pretend to be a Nazgul on that flying mount. Only a really ugly looking one on a really ugly looking mount.
Ok so they're messing with heroics/mythics and split Karazhan but they can't put regular mythic runs into the lfg? Just fucking why.
I'm a prot warrior, please keep the dirty talk going. Getting pretty hard here, just need to kick some dps who waited 57 minutes for being afk 10 seconds at the dungeon entrance.
The Diablo experience is getting to me. WQ procced a tit-forged trinket for my Demon Hunter, ilvl 870. Obviously it had fucking crit on it which was the first downside but I thought waoh, 30 ilvls higher than what I have, surely it's an upgrade. Well apparently it isn't because my 840...
My healer buddy continues to be a no-show so I decided to stop playing shitty alts and bring my warrior into Legion. Is there any reason in picking up blacksmithing at this point in the expansion? It seems incredibly expensive and caps out fast. I think I've reached 845 on my demon hunter...
What's this repetition you speak of, I thought everybody loved those trafficking missions in the swamp. And you got to love the rednecks in this, they're so comically evil, they blow every actual comic book villain out of the water.
Well heroic BC dungeons are from a time when dungeons in this game were actually hard. Game feels kinda weird after not playing for such a long time. At level cap I feel like I'm playing some sort of 3rd person Diablo, these random stat item and upgrade procs are just annoying as all hell.
How did you guys manage to max Nightfallen, it's been a pain so far. I mean I only started with Legion two weeks ago, so I'm obviously behind the rest of the playerbase but it's looking grim. 8/11 story quests done, exhausted the questhubs and doing all the world quests every day. Still only at...
Stellaris is not bad but as the others have said - shallow. Like, really really shallow. The third big patch is supposed to come out soon and I might pick it up again. If you haven't played it yet it's probably a good idea to sit tight for another year or so.
No I haven't. Are they old men telling their wives they're out hunting over the weekend with Joe and then they fuck each other in their Cabin, out in the woods?
No. Check the armies stances and also get to grips with the underway. There's a good chance the armies are either intercepted by a dwarven army currently in the underway, or the orc himself is intercepting. You can't reinforce in either case but if you're the intercepter the usual retreat button...
The game is strangely boring for some reason. I united the Reikland and was lucky enough to grab Marienburg undefended because the AI thought it was a good idea to pop out and attack that annoying orc settlement right next to them. Then I sat there, maxed out the Reikland province and got myself...
Don't worry, for the low price of 4.99 you too can purchase the undead culture pack, containing 16 repainted units from the base game and two minor faction bonuses slapped across three incredibly inspired new factions for the newest addition to the Total War series - Total War: Total DLChammer.
Set HDR to low. I can't wait for the Wyrmking's Ring, I had all but forgotten about the stupid cast times on the MK buffs. If there's ever going to be a sequel I sure hope buffs last longer/don't take ages to cast all the time, it just kills the flow of battle.
I don't think I ever want to play a non sub mmo ever again. The raidbosses can drop minis (which I personally don't care too much about) so you can show off how badass you are for beating them. Well, except for the final boss. They're selling that one in the fucking gemstore.
My group cleared it. The actual "serious" PvE community in GW2 must be really damn small. Oh and I sat out today so we can avoid interal drama because we have 11 people. Damn shame, cause we were really close to killing it yesterday.
Kids for whom GW2 is the first MMO are getting blown the fuck out. 3 days of wiping and they're pretty much done. Most people also now have to realize they're actually incredibly bad at the game which is causing reactions to say the least. The group I'm playing with (also in a pretty big guild)...
Fractals have never been in a worse spot. Sure, you can just pick whatever specific one you want to do but they first removed all the rewards, then put in a mastery grind to get some of them back and they're still MUCH worse than they were before the addon. Fractals were a good source of...
Told a buddy ingame who was slaving away on a Rev that Anet will change the amount of points needed, but only once he's done and it is a useless change to him. I never expected it would happen within the week. Anet has some of the worst QA in the MMO business.
edit: And the change went live...
Fuck me that ending is so lame. All that buildup from the trailer was a bunch of bullshit, the final fight is basicallyand the last scene was just very unsatisfying. The fight is more than pressing 1 for 20 minutes so that is good but their explanation of how we kill this omnipotent being is a joke.
Servers are meaningless unless you're looking for WvW which you probably don't. So you can join any guild you want and play with them, your home server only comes into play when you want to do WvW with a specific group of people.
This fight was a total mess in the very few attempts we had at it. I'm curious to see how fast people will adapt to this, it is basically WoW raiding which is something GW2 only players aren't used to at all.
There is potential here. From what I am seeing so far (Revenant especially) it seems they realised the whole 'everyone is dps' will just be boring after a while. Rev in particular has a stance that is entirely devoted to moving a healing/condition removing/projectile absorbing tablet around the...
GW2 just has its own trinity. You don't wait for your tank but you wait for your phalanx warrior and two good elementalists or else it becomes a fucking drag. Anet obviously is blind to this because they're busy balancing for the least popular game mode, sPvP. The raid announcement gave me a...
Impossible to tell really as we've only seen parts of this one zone so far. There was a wooden potatoes video today where he talked about datamined zones that would indicate there's only 4 of them. If that is actually true nobody knows, there very well might be zones that are in development but...
Dragonhunter and tempest seem underwhelming, the dragonhunter was just a very poorly received elite in general and tempests problem is the absolute insane strength of the elementalist in EVERY single game mode. It is hard to get excited when your class is pretty much OP already.
Reaper is...
From a first glance I'm not too impressed with the reaper, I guess necro will never be a good class in PvE. It's flashy and looks cool if you're into that kind of aesthetic but it does nothing for how condition damage works on the necro and the greatsword is ok against weak trash but I don't see...
Too be fair, Germany is sweating it's balls off right now, I don't even want to know what it is like in that hall right now. But holy shit the WoW lore is all over the place, where is this mysterious outer world prison for demon hunters coming from and why are blood elfs a part of it, jesus fuck.
