You can play the wii games on it too. So if its a choice between one or the other, buy the wii u. I am not sure on long term dev support, but you can always count on good first party games.

I enjoyed having to farm for certain spells in EQOA. They weren't just given to you. You had to do something to get them. Little things like that add depth to a game.

No instant travel. That crap allows one guild to monopolize an entire server. Make travel take some time. Mounts are fine. But this instant gratification is the problem with the genre today.
