IMO - The Tacoma's are really nice, but overpriced compared to the current domestic trucks. Of the big 3, I think I like the Ram the best for the half ton market followed by the Ford F150 with the Ecoboost. All of the current trucks are pretty bad ass, but I would take a long look at a Ram 1500.

I wouldnt ever suggest having to rely on an unloaded shotgun. In competition mode i spend an hour a day dry firing and practicing loading/mag changes and still manage to throw shotshells on the ground more often than i should. Loading a shotgun in a high stress scenario just sucks.
