They should bring back the M+ seasonal 'meta', like they had for the Challenge Mode dungeons that came before them.

Nope. I ended up going murder hobo for the last 10-15% of the game. I get it. Corporations are bad and everyone in this galaxy, with the exception of like three women, are incompetent.

    The Outer Worlds

The game is relatively solid, but the 'hype' behind it is more due to how horrible the majority of AAAs have been. It is a solid C+ to maybe B game. If I had paid $60, I would be upset. I paid $1, so it is amazing value for the price. About to finish the game, maybe another 3-4 hours on...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

I vaguely recall them saying that they are already working on expansion +2. Meaning that while we are in 8.2.5, they are tweaking 8.3, heavily working on 9.0, and brainstorming patches/expansions beyond that. This could all be different now, but I am relatively certain that was how it 'used to...

Horrible Halloween Movies! I have seen two out of three of them. I was excited for them to watch Rock'n'Roll Nightmare... and their reaction did not disappoint.

    The Outer Worlds

Huh. I had been looking for something to describe it as well and I guess sterile works. It is pretty, the gunplay is alright, the humor is nice, the setting is right up my alley. But for all of the color and activity, the worlds do not feel like they have a soul.

    The Outer Worlds

On Supernova, I find myself quite often engaging to get a sneak attack snipe with a scoped hunting rifle, then backing off and plinking/running away if anything gets within shooting or punching range.

I like horror movies, even bad horror movies and this is the season for them! Anything 1-2 is do not waste your time, 3-4 is if you have nothing better, 5-6 is 'okay, if you are looking for something in the genre', 7+ is stupidly rare. Amazon Prime: Stag Hunt - 6/10 - Mildly amusing Brittish...

    The Outer Worlds

Supernova difficulty is a ball buster. Lots of deaths and not even off of the first planet. Those ground tunneling prime monkeys can eat a bag of dicks.

Corrupted is not sustainable. It is for this tier/end of the expansion only. It will only come from the latest season stuff as well.

It is a shit system, but the above would not really matter in the long run. You can 'cleanse' them at will by going to the Heart.

Living with Yourself was okay/good until the last two episodes, where it takes a steaming pile.

Alternatively, you can play it for $1 through the XBox Gamepass. That is what I am doing.

Absolutely. They even neutered the XP Stacking. You can get +50% XP for RAF -OR- +50% from Heirlooms. It does not stack.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

The 'party sync' feature is neat, I guess? You can lower your level to match that of a person you have RAF'd yourself to. You lose any extra abilities that level would apply, etc. You can redo quests you have completed, with a few rules... they do not award reputation if you have previously...

In theory, yes. Alternatively, you just subscribe four dummy accounts, instead of one. But it gets those subscription numbers nice and artificially inflated!

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

RAF is even fuckier than it was last time. Now, you are limited to ONE reward per account, per month. You used to be able to sign up, pay for X-Months, get that reward. Now you are rewarded one month at a time. Many people bought 12 Months worth of time, slapped it on, now they have to wait...

    Steam Deals and Digital Sales

That makes much more sense. I had 'paused a month' for the last four months, because I had all of the 'big ticket' items in the bundles. Now, if they show them all upfront, if I want the smaller games, I have the option of subscribing for them.

Ranked sucks, because everyone is fucking Golgos/FoD. Random sucks, because random. Draft sucks because the bots do not draft blue, so it feels like 75% of the decks are Mill/Control.

    The D&D thread

As above. Most games I have played, there are two or three DMs. One does a campaign or module, then if they want, someone else takes up the mantle. It can get a bit chaotic, if you are juggling different settings/homebrews/etc, but most DMs like a chance to play, so it works out.

    The D&D thread

One of my biggest issues with 5th edition now that I am used to the mechanics/classes/etc, is that everyone likes/wants to use the Milestone system instead of XP. I understand it. It is easier, it sort of makes sense. But if you are in a group that chews the scenery and does a lot of role...

Went 10/2 with a pretty standard Jeskai Fires/Superfriends deck. First game was a loss... went against Gruul Aggro. Opening hand was six lands and Sarkhan, so mulliganed into 1 land and no fires, then again into four lands and Ugin... Last loss was to a hot handed Simic Ramp. I did not run...

    What did you just read?

Agree entirely about Seveneves. It was good up until the third act, when it all fell apart. Way too big of a time jump for my taste as well. I enjoyed the survival aspects of the second act the most.

I tend to buy books from Indie authors significantly more than I would buy from, say, an established author. Will Wight has gotten money from me for each book, I have enjoyed them, no qualms about it. Even if I feel that Uncrowned was the weakest book of the series due to it feeling like half...

I am not sure how I feel about the ending. It felt very, very rushed. The novel as a whole did. Only the last two battles were really fleshed out at all, which is a disappointment.

Uncrowned: Book 7 of the Cradle Series by Will Wight. If you liked the earlier books, you will like this. Only problem is that it ends on a whole load of cliffhangers.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

The large majority of WoW can be 'ignored', due to it being 'pointless'. There are large populations of the game that do PvP or Pet Battles or Archaeology. Mount/Toy Collecting as well. I would spend plenty of gold to play Home Decoration Azeroth edition, if I could mount trophies from...

They touched (VERY briefly) on player resurrection in one of the Illidan quests during Legion. It was like a two line thing and...
