If you played D&D/AD&D, there were a few modules that had 'tech' in them. Expedition to the Barrier Peaks being the biggest of those that come to mind... it included powered armor, blaster rifles, and robots. It is considered one of the founding modules as well. The Forgotten Realms had...

Raise your Administration score, but no. If you expand at any sort of rate beyond 'snail', you will have sprawl ramping up quickly. You have to be smart about balancing resources/research/unity buildings to counter it.

BfA questing was not horrible, Season 2 Mythic+ was loads of fun, and the first two raids were enjoyable (save for the final bosses). 8.2 should be out on the 25th, but it is just more WQs, new collection items, and a single dungeon/BG.

The problem is that they are terrified of alienating casual or returning players. It is why they have so few evergreen content options and why nearly everything is reset with each expansion.

I loathe the concept of 'squishes', be it item level, damage, and particularly character level. I hate how they 'nerf' our damage down to more 'reasonable' numbers every few expansions (even if they try to do it across the board, so NPCs are as weakened as we are). If there is a level squish...

Aboleths do not hate the illithids and have worked with them when their goals align, however, they do not trust or like them very much - Aboleths have no racial memory of the illithids and given that the racial memory goes back to the birth of the Gods, then it is a big deal for them. I meant...

It absolutely could be a Nautiloid or even a Dreadnaught, as there are still a few of them kicking around, just they can no longer be made. The illithids once controlled entire planes, but the Gith rose up and hunted them to near extinction, which is one of the reasons they ended up on the Prime...

I Am Mother was tolerable-to-good. Would rate it a B- to a B. Skip the trailer, it gives away too much. Basic story is: A robot is in a bunker with lots of human embryos for some reason. It decides to grow one of them into a person.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

Last I heard, the next movie is already steaming through production, but this is not doing anywhere near what they thought it would. Estimates put it around $275m-300m when advertising is factored in and it is just breaking $200m box office this weekend.

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

No doubt. Trust me, when I was younger, I was full into everything here. I had the X-Files 'I want to believe' poster, followed every magazine/newsletter about the paranormal, etc. Was certain that in my lifetime, disclosure would happen. Now I am older and jaded, so I do not trust anyone. So...

Absolutely. I guess they want to 'slow' things down again? Ghuunies were a pain, particularly in a few specific groups where you could not CC reliably. Ghosts are actually lots of fun and you can plan around them. But season 3 being so random is... ugh.

^It is all, 100% about the DM. Before my current 'main' group, I tried five other groups. 1) Seemed like a good group, did three sessions (three hours each) and the DM ghosted us. 2) Was clearly a group of three friends looking for a DM and a +1. One guy refused to use Push to Talk, so we always...

The realms is just a bit of everything. It is also a 'hub' world that most of the others touch on or connect to from various points. It was my second setting (My first was Ravenloft - talk about being tossed into the deep end) and the one I fell in love with.

The 'Realms' are still in a sort of daze. Most of the old favorites are gone/dead/depowered, due to the time skip. Spellplague and the time-skip were the big event to change 3.0/3.5 over to 4.0. Shar tried to recreate...
