I spent a long time solo'ing Nobles in Highkeep. Not-terrible money and relatively easy while waiting for a group spot in an actual dungeon somewhere.

And the initial 'catch up' is 385. You can (slowly) upgrade them. PTR guesses point at it taking 2-4 weeks of doing dailies to upgrade them from 380 to 430. No weapons, no trinkets. So... it can help gear alts/new players faster, but it is not replacing raiding/M+/etc.

It is a shame, as well. I enjoyed the first part and I loved the second part. If the third part would have been at least reasonable or made some tiny amount of possible sense, I would have been fine with it overall. But it did not and it ruined an otherwise amazing book.

I thoroughly enjoyed Seveneves until the last section of the book. Total trash.

Absolutely is deck matching. It seems to give you a few random, then starts matching you either based on deck 'cost'/mythic amount or unfavorable matches.

Playing some craptastic Black Discard/Amass/Zombie deck (Stuck with 500 gold quests, black is the only color available to me that will not complete them). Seeing some... actual success? Once in a while, a vampire aggro or drakes deck will get to speed too quickly, but otherwise is not horrible...

Class stacking is so extreme in both raiding and M+ right now. Not even entirely because of Soak Mechanics, like we saw with Legion. Just because some classes can ignore most mechanics and out DPS everyone else.

MTG:O = EverQuest. MTG:A = World of Warcraft. Easiest comparison I can come up with. MTG:O has more depth (due to the amount of cards/game modes), but MTG:A is significantly more open to new players, sleeker, and more aimed at user retention.

MTG:A has less cards (only Ixlan onwards - they are adding more as they come out), significantly better UI/Coding, no trading/dust system (Wildcard system somewhat makes up for it - but is still rough), you can somewhat F2P it, and Arena has more focused (or limited, as you will) game modes.

Only people that make me want to punch someone. Particularly if they stop on every single phase and use the entirety of each turn.

My computer was so janky, it could not play EQ and a music player without crashing, so I listened to EQ music. So different than today, where the first thing I do in almost any game is shut off the music so I can listen to something else.
