I have a soft spot for rogues but realistically they don't start coming into their own until dodh. They start having adps abilities for other classes as well so it's worth having them around. A lot of the "rogues suck blah blah" stuff in later xpacs comes from where they are put by bad raid leaders.

Yeah in classic you definitely need to tank as a ranger. Snare/flame lick is your bread and butter. This is assuming you are in a regular group and not the meta enchanter/cleric carry group.

Why do people play on a PVP server and get upset about PVP?

I keep hearing it gets awsome in the last half or last third but man I got to ironwood and that shit killed all of my desire to play the game anymore. I have instead been playing some God of War 3 to wash the taste out of my mouth so to speak.
