Released yesterday. So far its pretty fun and a huge step up from the past two SO games. Combat is similar to FF7R as its seamless and fast paced, but less of a focus on party switching (at least not so far). Art style is what it is. Thankfully not hyper annoying characters yet like SO4.

I think you usually want to kill Tanthi first. Pretty sure he's the west mob. He doesn't slow with turgurs like the other two do. Other than that the silence isnt too bad to resist, make sure clerics have a bard for psalm of veeshan. Use your healer's EB's.

Headshot is basically useless until rangers get quite a bit of Hdex IIRC. Barely will ever proc anymore. I'd say a monk but who knows with how casters work on vaniki.

The winning strat is for warriors especially to work out a pecking order for those class items between themselves for minimal dkp. People will cry collusion but fuck em. Warriors have enough we have to spend dkp on.

Where can I farm a Shield of the Immaculate these days? Buddy of mine is saying he doesn't think fear golems can drop them anymore since the pof revamp. Is it just hate minis now? I don't think the loot revamp where it drops from the chest is until ldon right?

If you've unlocked rainbow chest runs those are pretty fun. You get one chest on each floor when you start that spits out 8-10 items and you pick one item out of the pile up. You get lots of good items quick.

The only redeeming quality of the pilot is I believe he has a 50% chance to not use a key when opening chests. Also each main level has a alternate level to it if you are picking up the "secret" items to open up the alternate paths. Doing so will double the amount of chests you get on a run...

If they would package DoN with OoW and put both expansions loot in the same bucket that would be cool, imo. As it is OoW by itself just does not have enough content to keep people sane for three months, and neither does DoN really even though its shorter. DoN also has more smaller scale raids...

For those just getting their VR sets, get Half Life Alyx, it's really a unique and amazing experience. Compound is great too and is gets regular updates. For driving games I dunno, I think Redout has a VR mode and MS Flight Simulator but I havent gotten either of those yet. Probably more driving...
