I got the opposite. You get your weapon skills but class abilities you may only start with 1 or 2. Not all 4. However, I can't point to anything so - that's mostly speculation.

We know for sure there are only 8 total weapon skills (4 skills for each weapon type). We know that the class abilities "level" as you tier up. But we don't know for sure if there are more than 4 skills per class - I thought there was something said to the effect there's 6-12 per class but...

I would prefer flat out prohibitions but that isn't happening - it'd be a denial of service to casuals who are going to play the game for a year or so max before jumping ship to WoW Next with slightly better voxel technology, more instancing and Nightelves.

Disagree. Long fights can be very interesting - managing your resource pools to (for example) be able to heal before the tank gets hammered. Goes back to earlier discussion that combat should be more about resource management.

In EQN the hardcore will do all the initial digging into various top tier areas and casuals will follow the just made paths down because they don't want to be bothered with digging through Tier 2b. So you'll dig a tunnel to Tier 2c or break into Tier 3 and your hardworn path will suddenly fill...
