WIP Stuff, the Roman soldier is metal which is a first since I was a kid. I have to say, Contrast Paint Snakebite Leather is great. Looks awesome in one application imo. I used it on Maximus' leather tunic or whatever that's called, sandals, lining around the shield, and that bandolier...

Thanks man. This is where he stands now lol. This is one of those projects I'm just going to work on til I feel I've learned enough then move on. I'm enjoying him a lot. Someone suggested adding some colors... thin glazes of yellow or red. We will see what I end up doing!

Update... so I went for more contrast. In the process I messed up the mid tones lol. But I'm still working on him

Yeah I'm gonna push the contrast up on him. Darken the shadows at least and see where that gets me. This was him at an earlier stage and it seems more well defined.

Yeah it sucks, I need to figure out how to get better shots. All the contrast is washed out

I only played DOS2 recently, like less than a year ago. I thought it was really good. As in I would put it on par with Baldurs Gate 2, or games like XCom, Civ series etc. That good. Then again I don't play many games these days :)

I'm hyped for this. I had no idea it was being done by the Divinity OS people. Looks like they made a lot of improvements too. Jumping, quicker fights, perception rolls, shoving people... all good shit. You can tell by that video they learned a lot and I already really enjoyed the Divinity...

Yah she is very good! I thought that video was helpful for sure. I'm still getting the hang of things. The airbrush really does put on super buttery smooth layers. I'm struggling with the second layers on top of it though. I think the inks I used are opaque and I was expecting more of a glaze...

Squigs and a couple of gobbos are primed! I always go through this thing where I want to try something new, but don't want to fuck them up. But screw it, I can always just buy another set if I somehow FUBAR it. The plan is to try to use the airbrush more with these bros.

Thanks man, top of the blade is Pale Grey Blue. Bottom is Neutral Grey and edges are Dark Blue Pale. All by Vallejo. I did a bit of mixing and blending but they're basically those 3.

Been watching this guy and others use an airbrush. Vince Venturella is another example of someone I watch who always mentions using an airbrush. I have an airbrush, it's a Patriot 105. I think I just need to dedicate some time to fucking around with it more than just priming. I honestly still...
