Getting a friend ready for my Chaos Warrior. Do you guys like the red spikes or these brass/gold spikes better on the armor? He is WIP but the one with red is pretty much done. I was also thinking maybe adding some highlights on the red spikes might improve them.

Stormcast Prosecutor has a base coat on and a quick wash. Next up is highlights! I have an army of these guys to paint up. I did buy the Citadel Gold armor spray can, I may try it on the next one to do the base coat of gold armor.

Are you leaning towards any? I'm personally liking the idea of different colors for each faction. I like 7 and 5 - Seraphim and Drakenhof.. and for a 3rd I'd like a bit of more "red" to the Reikland shade. So yellow/blue/red. I dig #4, that purple. But the purple is kinda close to the blue.

I just tried a new base myself. I'll post a pic of that also, but here is the latest from the Dwarves. Up to 6 now! And the base is red paint on the bottom, and Citadel's Agrellan Earth on top to form the cracked look / lava underneath. I may do this on the dwarves but still not sure.
