That flurry kill/head explosion ability is a much more reliable way to permanently kill the captains. I don't even know when I got it, but it beats praying that your execution ability results in a decapitation.
So I guess trying to clear the map of captains is futile until you advance the story past a certain point. I killed most of the captains in the Sauron's army menu while running around doing side missions and all their positions ended up being filled by unknown enemies.
After decapitating a couple of captains, I'm not having any luck getting rid of these fuckers for good. I don't know if you have to hit a certain button during the combat finisher move or what, but I'm tired of fighting the same dudes 3 or 4 times.
The only complaint I have is that the environments can become monotonous. I don't really know what I was expecting from a game that takes place in Mordor, but I wish you could explore interior locations.
If a captain's body is lying on the ground in the "Sauron's army" menu, that means he has merely been defeated. If you see his head on a spike, that means he's been permanently dispatched. That's why they keep coming after you and many of them can track you and overwhelm you when you're trying...
Captains don't respawn. If they come back, that means you didn't kill them. Haruk (or whatever his name is) tracked me 4 or 5 times before I got an execution ability and each time his appearance would become more gruesome (scars, bag over his head).
Anyone experiencing the reloading bug? I just equipped Pills with a great handgun but it says I'm permanently out of ammo. The same thing happened with one of Cold Eye's sniper rifles but that fixed itself somehow.
Anyone else watching this? Amazon just posted the entire season for you Prime users.
It's about a man (Jeffrey Tambor) undergoing a radical change as a woman and the secrets his family keeps.
If this does indeed play like Assassin's Creed and the Batman Arkham series, keyboard and mouse will be fine. I actually think kb/m is more intuitive in those games.
I'm only a few hours in but already fed up with this game. Having to find an endless wave of pod people with no option or escape or sneak by is the complete opposite of fun.
Even the more tolerable characters like the Ukrainian pest control guy and the old Armenian Jew have irritating qualities. The old guy has that William Shatner speech pattern and the exterminator's accent fluctuates between Ukrainian and Jersey.
Are the books this campy and ridiculous? The...
I watched a friend play this and have to ask: Where's the story? It just seems like a bunch of nebulous plot points that have you kill shit over and over on various planets in the solar system. I hear comparisons to Borderlands but games like Borderlands and Halo have more substantial story...
I'm only 3 episodes in, but I'm so fucking annoyed by the stupidity of these characters. "Your eyes are bleeding and you look like the walking dead. Go back to bed, honey!" Can't they move the plot along without resorting to this crap?
All the scenes involving the alcoholic stepfather are my favorite. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but everything about him is so comical. I'm laughing just thinking about that scene in which Patricia Arquette is lying on the garage floor and the guy comes in and says, "Don't worry...
I've always thought Linklater was a sort of unheralded genius, but this movie might be the most overrated of the last decade. Cringeworthy dialogue, ham-fisted political sentiments, and a wholly uninteresting lead character ruined this movie. Patricia Arquette is really hot, though.
Have you been paying attention to the show at all? Why the fuck would they address that sort of thing when scientists are unable to clone people in the present?
How is this guy a maniac? You're just talking out of your ass. I doubt he has any qualms about doing blockbuster movies but committing to a multi-film is sort of a big deal.
I didn't know much about Age of Ultron until recently, but I wanna know why it was necessary to change Ultron's origin. Hank Pym doesn't have to be a major character in the movie, but did they really have to make Tony Stark the creator?
