This stops at level 15. As someone who absolutely hates that type of crap, I thoroughly enjoyed 30-35 and 20-30 was decent as well. I played a Rogue with a 1.0 GCD at WoW release. Later switched to Warlock and didn't have any problem with them at 1.5 If the transition was seamless like that...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

I haven't played WoW for a couple expansions but the last time I did the rotation garbage was in full effect. I'd prefer Vanilla-style combat mixed with some FFXI uniqueness (skillchains and such). I can accept that won't happen but at least lower the GCD if there won't be much team synergy...

It would really help if they just dropped the GCD another .5 sec. And don't give me any bullshit about the +speed items. Convert that shit into TP/MP generation once they fix the GCD.

Just as a reference - on Cactuar there were probably 15-20 lv32+s online for the last 10 hours or so of beta. However, there were two guild groups of 4 to 5 each so the pick up community is pretty small. I would say I've played with (at a FATE or in a Dungeon) probably every player that is 33+...

20-30 sounds about right for the runs I tanked. In Brayflox we had to start using sleep. MRD shouldn't be spamming overpower.

I would nerf MRD hate generation some. Maybe Glad damage mit could be lowered slightly as a result but I think MRD is fine there with proper cooldown usage.

One thing they did really well to add is the auto follow. It copies the exact pathing of the guy you're following instead of getting stuck on corners, stairs, etc. The game clips a bit during this but a huge addition imo

Yea, I'm already on 3 full bars with Marauder at 35. Granted, the chochobo and other class skills are taking up some of that but I can't imagine playing this with a controller. Ifrit might actually be easier with no healer as long as the group is competent. The stone is a DPS race and my...

In a few different areas I've felt a definite influence of Aion in the design. Almost like they hired one of their artists or something as there's been a couple fates that reminded me of their outdoor dungeons. Then again it may just be that I've played too many asian MMOs in my life...

Well after doing Brayflox a couple times I'm sold. Absolutely beautiful dungeon/zone and between it and a few of the earlier dungeons enough decent boss mechanics to convince me max lvl will keep me entertained for an extra month or so. I hope the reason for the level cap is S-E being dicks...

did you do halati? trd? other than that you can grind on fates or leves (i went to l20 zone in gridania) until lv26 then there's a guy outside your grand company place that will auto level you to 29 because they havent put in all the quests yet

i've tanked every dungeon through halatali with no problem overpower probably needs a nerf

it's probably too early to tell at this point but bard was super OP in ffxi i kinda wish they brought ninja tanking back. now that was a unique mechanic

theyve improved the game a lot but still suffer from cognitive dissonance. the response to needing to lower the gcd? "equipment at level 50 can do that" yea, that's not going to stop people from quitting at level 5

Around a full day If you start playing Saturday morning you should get there around midnight. The server goes down 5 am EST on Sunday so that's about all you get.

I did it by teleporting to Horizon and running the difference but sounds about the same. One thing to note is to do these travel quests in a party if you want to save some $$$. I did the teleporting after Ifrit with another guy and we rotated teleports (it attempts to port your entire party)...

Yea that chain SUCKED. And unless I missed something you have to run it as the chocobos out in the world only go back to main cities and you don't get your own until after that line. I mentioned before I did Ifrit with no healer so I wouldn't think healing that would be too difficult...

I thought the game picked up when you get to the dungeons. The low level questing is brutal but once you start grouping/interacting directly with people it gets better. Still mostly standard MMO fare but it clicked better with me in the "polished but bland" genre than Rift or Aion. Even GW2 I...

Bingo. Defiance is awful. This is at least watchable. It's not a show I'd tell people they're missing out on but it's good enough to at least keep me tuning in every week. ^Luckily the show isn't bankrolled by that joke of a channel. It's from ShowCase in Canada and just got renewed for a...

Defiance (Syfy April 2013) TV Series and MMO

Show is pretty terrible. Improving with each episode but when you start with a turd it can only be shined up so much. I'd rather re-watch Farscape, B5 or BSG than watch a show that is 1/50th as good them. I'm giving it a couple more eps before cutting it off.

    Guild Wars 2

Anyone that wasn't a deluded fanboy knew TOR would suck. I got tired of its beta at level 5. Most people had more invested in GW2 so the backlash will be greater.

    The Hobbit

It was fine. Motion blur was a little noticeable for the first 20 minutes but after that it wasn't any different. Good movie, a little cartoony at times but overall enjoyable. Not sure where all the bad reviews were coming from.
