Tanks outdmg dps all the time in the 5mans. You're pulling all the trash and doing AE abilities and gaining the benefit of vengeance. Look at the parses for the single target boss fights...doubt you're doing 44% of the dmg there unless you are just super-geared compared to the dps.

there's 6 LFR raids x 90 = 540 plus 16x40=640 normal/raid heroics...you dont have to do a single dungeon run at all to cap valor. You also gain valor from scenarios, challenge modes, etc. It's pretty easy to cap valor in 1-2 days.
