It's actually the opposite. They are stretching out content longer than ever before. Highmaul+Blackrock Foundy = Tier 17 just like MSV+Heart of Fear+Terrace of Endless Spring = Tier 14.

There has been concrete info...its on wowhead. Also, dont forget about the 640 epic ring from Brawler's guild. Sure it costs 16k, but its super easy and fast to get so...and 16k is not a lot of gold these days to most raiders. And DMF opens on Sundays, not Mondays.

Nope, world bosses are supposed to be accessible from the start. The daily Challenge Mode reward contains a 640 spec appropriate armor piece. Randomized secondaries, but there is a crafted item that rerolls secondary stats on items. The point though is that the only source of pre-raid 640+...

Actually it's not that bad they are part of the 3 since there aren't many (any?) other sources of epic trinkets pre-Highmaul, whereas there are multiple ways to get epics for every other non-weapon slot.

Bit incorrect here. What Final Verdict does, in part, is give a dmg bonus to your next DS and increases it's radius of effect. The Draenor Perk that we earn upon hitting lvl 92 is what is exactly like our Tier 16 4pc is now.

Yeah I only had the patience to get them with the turnins you can do from Pandaren dig site solves...but that's only due to me being a sucker for achievements. Those Collect 20 ones almost drove me insane. Not sure which was worse, those or the collection achievement for Timeless Isle drops.

It was just added in this patch. There's a 5man in WoD with a boss fight where you end up coming out of that portal as part of the encounter.

Not quite. The lvl 90 version we get today is not the whole thing, it's just a limited sneak preview of what the WoD revamp will be. It does go all the way to the end with the final boss being Warlord Zaela, the Orc that was riding Galakris in SoO.

Heroic Malk is no joke, it's the first truly hard encounter in there. While "avoid the orbs" may seem simple, the amount of orbs that spawn, and the pathing complications that it creates to the void zones, coupled with a very tight enrage timer is no joke.

Because that's nowhere near the case. First zone quest rewards are around 512. The final quest zone offers rewards that are 580 base level. Level 100 normal 5mans drop 615ilvl items iirc. So yeah...the cloak will last awhile relative to prior expansions.

Not true. The trinket from Protectors let any tank solo it on 10man, which our DK tank did last November.

The reason why Wildstar failed is that the gameworld as a whole is not any more immersive than WoW was 10 years ago. Why did EQ blow our socks off? First 3D MMORPG. Why did WoW trump it? bigger, more seamless game world, tons less "loading" immersion breaks, areas with story and scripted...

The first weekend of Brawler's Guild was the most fun I've had in WoW since Vanilla. It was amazing. CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP!
