Horse carriages are slavery. That noble pit was trying to free the enslaved horse. On a side note, my boerboel is 6.5 months old, 110 pounds, and able to get his paws over 9 ft up when jumping. This thing is a fucking freak.

The bottleneck are the mills. They are making windfall profits, and there aren't enough to satisfy demand for lumber, or supply of timber. Mills are expensive. Weyerhauser or whatever, and other large holders have so much timber, they might be able to starve out new mills in a lot of places.

From what I remember about stats, you can remove the outliers if they throw off projections etc. Always wondered why we never see ppl doing that w/ investments. Tossing a few really high and really low periods can give you vastly different slopes.

I had an older set, we are putting on the other side of the house. I have a decent grill, but buddy won't stfu about his pellet grill... I dunno about that, but him not shutting the fuck up about it is driving the urge to get one. Just like these cards. It's just turning nice outside, go...

Primary residence exclusion could make selling it the best bet. Esp if the area is going to shit. Rental income will be taxed, tenants, dealing with the uncertainty of the housing market... Sell it, and get your dream spot imo

    Bitcoins/Litecoins/Virtual Currencies

I've typed it all out before. I think BTC eventually starts losing liquidity. And it's mostly derived from that. I know nothing about how BTC layer 2+ works save for years old info on lightning. My knowledge on the coding of BTC is old and vague. Same for ETH. Maybe I'm wrong, would like...

I didn't see anything in there that actually refutes what I think. Esp considering they are all referring to the pragmatic of "as it is now" and not "as it could be".

    Bitcoins/Litecoins/Virtual Currencies

Iirc the 51% works because it breaks how the network validates. I don't think "them being ok with it" would matter. It would basically hijack all BTC if successful. Devs wouldn't matter, etc. The reason for ETH changing is to create the incentive to remove the computational requirements, and...

Either I misunderstand what a 51% attack is, what you said isn't accurate, or something. 51% attack means miners can absolutely do what your said they can't, given a majority of processing power.

They will scale, and consolidate, just like every other business. BTC is in no way decentralized. And will be less so as time moves on. Not saying it's good or bad, but that's the break. ETH will be similar, but my understanding it is should be a basis for an ecosystem, not a "currency". So...

The ETH as internet analogy naked sense to me as it seems to provide utility. I don't know if BTC layering is able to do the same things or can overcome the ecosystem already built on ETH

The guy that wrote that Medium article is a fucking hack. The only argument I see in it for PoW is that PoS is not "egalitarian", as we look at 60k BTC, and massive institutions buying billions in BTC. Lulz
  39. LachiusTZ

    Bitcoins/Litecoins/Virtual Currencies

PoS is more resilient. It's less likely that a single actor would own half, than a single actor could spike computing power short term. I've been thinking about rebalancing back to 50/50, right now about 90% ETH, and I plan on it... Just dunno when I'm going to
