I don't care about the press, but how often do you want a garlic puree? I make one thing on a regular basis that wants the mush: garlic bread. Everything else is slices, minced, or whole.

Football averages an absurd number of rule changes per year. You can take any given play 20 years apart in any era and the rules governing them will usually be significantly different. It used to be that all kickoffs were onside. It was pretty cool except for the massive amount of death and...

We should go back to 1896 kickoff rules. That's when we seperate the men from the boys.

    Whiskey

I prefer neat with a few exceptions and none of those are less than ~116 proof (for bourbon anyways scotch is different). If I do add water, then I hold an ice cube in my hand and let a few drops of melt between my fingers. A few drops can open up a high proof or very complex whiskey, but too...

Yeah, I'm kinda useless for recipes since literally the only things I ever measure are rice and water for rice. But basic wonton construction starts out from the same core: ground Pork ginger minced garlic minced green onion soy sauce egg yolk sesame oil Then you can add acids and...

I really recommend Weller over Makers. I'm not a huge wheated bourbon guy though, and Makers is undeniably better. It isn't close to twice the price better though. Never had Belle Meade, but the other two are rock solid starters. I also just realized that I have no idea what regular four...

The college game is so advanced offensively right now that I think that sentiment is far less true than it used to be. Look at first and second round QB picks from the last three years and there is a staggering amount of talent that produced immediately. QB's enter the league in a far better...

They certainly don't, but presumably they pick someone up in the draft. Shit, if you look at the boards then that someone could even be a guy like Bridgewater. Regardless there's going to be a guy there that is an instant upgrade.

Dalton is incredibly frustrating because he had the stretches and flashes where he looks legitimately great. Not elite, but certainly more than good enough. I also don't put a lot of stock in QB "clutchness", by this point in their careers these guys have delivered in clutch situations dozens of...

Apart from his tendency to abandon the run, I think Gruden is a pretty innovative play caller and good at developing an offensive philosophy that matches his personnel. His problem tends to be sticking to that. I think RG3 will progress in his offense, but the problem he's had with Dalton is he...

He pretty consistently puts together top defenses in the league, which is good but he does it with a motley bunch. Bengals fans love him because he consistently gets more out of cast offs, has beens, and never weres than you ever thought possible. The Bengals had a top 5 defense this year with...

Eating fish contaminated by Fukushima is probably ok

My roommate freshman year at Ohio State worked in the apiary. Sometimes I'd get back from class and he'd be sitting in his chair directly in front of the door, naked except for a red t-shirt, and dipping his whole hand in a jar of fresh honey and then putting his fist in his mouth. I'd say...
