Yeah the halfway point for 1-99 is at level 92 lol.

When I woke up this morning MrLlama was already level 90 and no one else was even 88 yet. I'm wondering how his group gets him so much more experience than the rest of the group. Giving him every exp shrine is obvious but I don't know other than that. I'm sure he will be 99 by this afternoon or...

Yeah I just leveled as hammerdin and talk about chugging mana pots. If you have twink gear I'm sure it would be amazing to level as, but I was starting fresh. I had to chug mana pots until I got Insight on my merc at like level 70.

Pretty imba for level 5! I'm debating if it's even worth playing ladder or not. Is the only difference on ladder the 5ish ladder-only runewords? I guess I was hoping for some uniques and other cool stuff but I haven't heard about anything else besides the runewords.

Agreed. I seriously hope they don't use the D3 skill system where everyone has every skill. I can't think of a less rewarding system for leveling up your character. I don't understand why Blizzard hates skill trees these days. Vanilla WoW and D2 were perfect. Retail WoW and D3 are a bad joke.

As someone who always plays a healer, this looks like it could be pretty fun!

What do we think is going to happen with Classic after WOTLK? Surely no one wants to play expansions after that one as "Classic". I guess I kind of hope they just end Classic at WOTLK and keep Classic, TBC, and WOTLK servers going indefinitely.

I didn't even know they changed the basic mount level to 30 in TBC until I saw a level 31 riding a mount today. I don't remember that happening in original TBC but I didn't play the whole time it was out. The 30s always seemed to drag the most, so having a mount will help a lot with that.

I'm starting fresh. I started an alliance Paladin on Grobbulus last night. Character name Morlow if anyone has any free bags or anything to hand out! I did get lucky and had a 6-slot bag drop right off the bat for me though.

I'm considering resubbing for some TBC Classic. Do they have the faster leveling to 58 like it was in vanilla?

I had a racing chair/wheel setup for GT5 for a while. Definitely highly recommended if you enjoy racing. I never played 6 but I'm sure 7 will be amazing like all the previous ones.

What is Blizzard planning on doing with SoM servers long term? Are they going to turn them into TBC servers or keep them as classic?

I have played through the base game. I just never bought WOTC or any other DLCs. I was ready to shake things up with a modded playthrough. My only complaint so far is that the Lost just seem to make missions way too long and not really even any harder.

I've been watching modded playthroughs on YouTube recently. That combined with the DLC being 91% off on Steam got me to pull the trigger. Just started a new campaign with all the DLC and 200 mods. Should be a blast! Already had my first death on the second mission. The game is so much more...

I was wondering the same thing. I played the demo of this and it seems like it should be solid but I just can't pay $35 for a game any more. I'll wait a year for when it goes more on sale.

I can't put my finger on it but something about the character movement in LE just feels off. Grim Dawn feels similar to D3, in that everything feels responsive. That's one thing I would love to see changed in LE.

Non-steam games that I probably have more hours than Grim Dawn in: Diablo 2, WoW, and Simcity 4.

Yeah I don't get why they are so anti-storage and inventory. They'd get a purchase from me if they increased that stuff but I don't want to play an inventory management game. I want to kill stuff.

Yeah, they might actually suck me back in if they keep updating this. The tiny inventory is my biggest gripe but I know they won't change that because the game is balanced around the amount of charms you can currently carry.
