I bought it this morning and I can confirm combat is harder than it looks haha. I've had to reload a few times when I suddenly ended up way too deep in enemies and destroyed instantly.

I bought this yesterday after seeing Quill18 play it. It was an instant buy for me, being a Banished fan. My first colony failed after I grew my population way too fast and couldn't keep up with everything. Gonna try to take it a lot slower the second time around. So far I highly recommend it.

Just about finished with season 5, and while season 5 has slowed down some I still feel this is the best sci-fi show I've watched. I just wish shows had more episodes in each season. Older shows used to have about 20 per season. Any more you're lucky if you get 10. First world problems.

I always suggest watching a YouTuber do a let's play or two, ideally one geared toward new players. You can learn a lot of the mechanics that way. That's how I learned to play EU4 and Stellaris both.

I would love if D4 was just basically an updated D2, with better graphics, QOL upgrades, and some system upgrades (like rifts or something similar for end game). But we all know it would be "too hard" these days to have monsters immune to specific types of damage.
