The game looks amazing to me so far, and once people start modding it will be even better. I'm not gonna have time to play this and Starfield, in addition to all the Factorio I play. I may have to skip Starfield for a while.

I love how this is exactly the opposite of what everyone was whining about in beta lol. Necro and sorc were super OP and barb and druid were trash.

I'm kind of surprised how long it's taking people to get to 100. I figured someone would already be there this morning but they were only around level 50. Seems like a lot of content while you level.

I'm not as worried about apm as I am about the over the top graphics. Just keep the animations toned down a little bit and I'm happy. We don't need Vampire Survivors in D4 lol.

Yeah I've recently been watching some hardcore BRD/LBRS/UBRS runs and man they just don't make dungeons like that any more. It's really sad. Nothing felt more epic than doing a full BRD or LBRS run back in the day.

Yeah I'll be curious what rules the HC servers have. I also think it's dumb that you can't trade or group (most of the time). Let people self-impose those rules if they want to do them.

Eating out anywhere these days is absurd. I went to IHOP last year and they want like $17 for a couple pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I walked out.

Yeah, after watching some of the HC death vids on YouTube, I just wonder why people are doing some of the things they're doing. Like who thinks it's a good idea to do the keep in Arathi? Or any cave? I guess some people just like to embrace the extra challenge.

I'm curious how this will impact farming on hc pvp servers. A while back I read that pvp gives unique mats that can't be found anywhere else, so poorly geared characters will just be screwed I guess? Or maybe that isn't true. It does seem kind of dumb to require people to pvp to gear up fully.

Does the mod actually enforce all these rules? If so, I'm surprised Blizzard lets a mod make changes that significant.

Yeah if you don't like chugging pots or playing inventory simulator D2 may not be for you. I happen to enjoy it enough that I can put up with it.

I haven't watched the video yet (I'm at work) but how is that even possible? It seems like 28 years isn't even enough time to march your armies across the globe, even if you killed everyone instantly and never had to seige anything. As mentioned above, some people really know how the game works...

Yeah people complaining about class balance doesn't make sense. If it's anything like retail WoW they will nerf/buff every class every other week. Just pick your favorite class thematically and eventually you will have your day (and eventually be nerfed).

Game looks super solid based on a little bit of watching streamers. That said, it's the first act. It's super easy to have a polished and well done first act. We won't know what the game is really like until it's released and people can get to end game.

Gotcha. Certainly better than nothing. I'll try it out tonight. After trying to get it installed, nothing happens. I'm guessing my mods folder is in the wrong folder maybe? I tried every folder that I thought would make sense.

Can you actually hide stuff you don't want to see with that mod? Also, with some of the names abbreviated does it allow more item tags on the screen at once? The only problem with P8 cows is you can't even see all the tags all the time because there are too many.

I just mean systems and loot. Smart loot is one of the most annoying things to me. That and BoE gear.

I'm on the fence about D4. It looks a little too like D3 for me, but slightly influenced by D2, and I'm enjoying single player D2R right now, so I will probably wait until it releases then watch some streamers to get a feel for the game before i decide to buy or not. Being so badly burned by D3...

If you find yourself struggling too much just watch some YouTube videos for beginners. It's a lot to learn...

My first character was a dual wield Blademaster. It's really fun playing through the first time and getting stomped by various things. I quickly learned that my character wasn't very good for farming end game but that's part of the journey!

It's still my top Steam game right now, at 954 hours. Factorio will pass it soon since I've been playing that recently and it's only 30 hours behind, but it is definitely in my top 5 games all time.

I obviously know nothing about programming but is it really that big of a deal to give players a very large or infinite stash? Especially in offline it seems like it wouldn't make any difference to the devs, but maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah I don't understand how every ARPG can't have the targeting system of Grim Dawn. Pretty much every other ARPG is literally unplayable after playing Grim Dawn because you have to manually click on each monster.

Yeah that's really good. I've never seen it either. I always love using Avatar of Mercy, it's very similar.
