Definitely the worst race/class starting experience in original EQ. I would be lying if I didn't admit I started an erud necro shortly after release and switched to another race/class almost immediately. When I rolled my necro it happened to be night.

Sassafras is the best bfast place I've ever been to. Denver has a sick amount of good bfast spots for some reason. Also has an amazing pizza place in Blue Pan. Lots of great food options.

Never messed with a VPN. My (limited) understanding of VPN is that it masks your IP- does it spoof it? Can you control where it looks like you are coming from or is it random? If it routes me through Norway or some shit it's not really going to fix my issue. I need to appear like I'm coming...

Great ideas are cheap. Making them happen is really expensive. The ability to properly assess your resources and limit your scope accordingly is an invaluable skill. Obviously, I have no idea what went on behind closed doors, but this is probably where lack of experience hurt the VR team.
