So every time you login to play do you start over from scratch in terms of what gear you have? There are no skills/abilities like in MMOs and how well you do in combat is based on how good you are at twitch FPS games?

OK if it isn't a MMO what is the difference between a "session based persistent online game" compared to a MMORPG like WoW?

Enhancement is in good shape for WoD. Ability pruning did not affect their main rotation much in terms of the number of abilities they routinely use. The new way that Echo of the Elements works is very nice and it procs a lot. Can't speak for the other two specs.

FYI accessing the new Toy Box UI can crash the game. Blizz dev said a temporary workaround is to log into the game with one of your characters and then log out to character select then quit the game entirely. When you log back in, you should be able to access the toy box without crashing.

It's going to be nice having multiple primary stats on armor. My enhancement shaman can now switch over to elemental without having to carry around a second set of gear.

Won't the MoP content get the same type of stat squish players are getting? In theory the difficulty of MoP content between now and WoD release should remain relatively the same.

If League of Legends had been released in 1999, the same gamers who were cutting edge hardcore raiders in EQ1 would have likely dominated in that game as well. In 15 years from now, whatever game the hardcore teenagers and 20 somethings are playing will likely make LoL look simple as well.

The marketing email I got from Bioware said something along the lines of 1-55 with 12X bonus doing nothing but class missions. I've done 4 class stories. Would be worth it to resub just to quickly do the other 4.
