Tickets are supposed to go on sale Friday (May 4th) but I haven't seen a time yet. Avengers IW tickets went on sale around 6am pacific time, but all the SW movies in the last 3 years have gone on sale later in the day after a trailer drop.
Its actually pretty amazing how awesome the character of Thor has become when you go back and watch 1 and 2. I liked those movies then, but he is fucking bonkers now. Totally the best Avenger.
There's no way Shuri is dead. She's a lock for Ironheart, with RDJ getting paid a sweet 10mill a movie moving forward to be the new voice of the suit AI and never having to appear in person after IW2.
Just got home from it. Reflecting back to the start with IM1, I can't believe what these fuckers have managed to pull off with the overall t1-3 arc, and this movie in particular. Brilliant.
p.s. so many highlights in this movie, but its incredible what they have done with Thor considering how...
TV rumor, but its Star Wars so....rumor is, they will be announcing the new TV series tomorrow. Its apparently anime style, set preceding TFA, and it shot from the First Order's perspective with a pilot as the main character.
This is the first post I've seen anywhere that clearly, and accurately, encapsulates why anyone should be doubting this film. On the surface though, this looks pretty good. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt since Marvel had a hand in it.
finally got home from work and had a chance to watch off the phone. looks fantastic, seems like they are taking at least 5 long talked about story elements and weaving them in. Looks like its going to be a lot of fun. And its going to be tons of Chewie, which is all good.
Spidey should knock BP and Iron Man off the list without question. I'd move Scarlet Witch up a few notches even before she has "leveled up", but aside from that it seems pretty close.
For the record, its my understanding that they have modified the Thanos backstory significantly for this movie. It does not involve Lady Death, who they haven't even mentioned at this point anyways. But from what I heard 2 days ago, it sounds like they did a great job of making his backstory...
This comes out this weekend and I haven't heard anyone in real life say a word about it. Combine that with this thread being on page 3 two days before release and we've got a real stinker on our hands.
bummed about this one. My dad gave me back my copy of "A Brief History of Time" during Christmas (I forgot he even had it from a decade back) and just by chance I've been rereading it since. I wish we celebrated minds like his the way they deserve everyday, but we don't. A brilliant mind and...
Dear bros,
I made it out. Its off the DVR completely and haven't seen the 2 most recent episodes, and I don't give 2 shits. I thoroughly enjoyed removing it from my record list.
Its awesome here.
Hope to see you soon!
Looks awesome. I've seen the first one 4 times now and like it more and more each time. The 4 main characters are so well cast and extremely likeable. Looks like the good stuff is going to continue.
No they haven't put an explicit time stamp on it, but from the trailers so far it definitely seems to take place in at least 2 time periods, and I've seen speculation that it may be three. Rumor is that its roughly 3-5 before ANH in whatever the later time period is.
