Hollow Palm is like 9 figure DPS utterly nuts. With 2000 DEX, it's like dual wielding two 4000 pDPS weapons and then getting 60% more attack speed on top of it. You'll have like 4000 life as a melee build though, so have fun with that.

Herald of Thunder does a hilarious 5400 base DPS with that node. That's triple that of Flameblast, and you can run around while it strikes. Not sure how you'd maintain the effect against bosses, but someone might figure it out.

The new awakening cards really pushed that deck over the edge, giving it a critical mass of untargetable minions. It's worse than Shaman was and I just don't see how it has any bad matchups at all.

Rez Priest is absolutely miserable to play. You don't get to play the cool new cards, every ladder game is 45 minutes and there are many matchups where you have basically 0 chance of winning. Nothing is worse than having to waste 45 minutes of your life on a 5% matchup.

It's amazing how tanky HoAG Guardian is this patch despite the fortify nerf, last patch you could get 90% physical DR with 0 armor, letting you do stuff like run the gluttony belt and acro/phase acro.

Yeah, hierophant/occultist with Ivory Tower. Extra curse, stun immune, free arcane surge. You can also do it as Guardian and you'll have like 30k armor, but it does like half the DPS.

Doing Whispering Ice, fantastic this league because you can delete even the toughest metamorphs in about 2 seconds by dropping a curse brand and then stacking the AoE 20 times on the vial as the metamorph is spawning out of it.

You have this totally backwards, quest Shaman is fundamentally MUCH worse against aggro than regular Galakrond because you're -1 card and -1 mana in the early game. The quest essentially never completes in time to matter in these matchups, and the changes you'd have to make to your battlecry...

Shaper/Elder were massively buffed in this patch. In addition to the 10% resist buff, Shaper now has 67.9m HP, up from 18.9m HP before. Red Elder is 42.3m HP. Loot is extremely rare because nobody knows how to kill them anymore. No idea on uber Elder, if that's 5x the EHP it was before.....lol.

Format would be decent if Skyshiv was a neutral card. Galakrond Shaman is exploitable as it has no staying power at all if you handle the two 8/8s and would absolutely die to any slow midrange or control deck but nope two card infinite Shudderwock combo, anything that's good against it autoloses.

I think you're confusing EA with BA, the new EA seems like it would be great with totems because new arrow hits don't refresh the bomb timer and it combines all arrow hits into 1 big ignite, so all totems can contribute. BA is shit with totems because the new ignite has 5 stacks max regardless...

Probably not, the ignite is limited to 5 stacks, with totems you'll lose tons of DPS by going over it.

Galakrond battlecries make 2/1s, the 5/4 rush corruptor (I forget name) battlecry makes one of them into a copy of Shudderwock, Lynchen copies Shudderwock.

Yeah but I think wild strike is unique in that the chain attack is neither melee nor projectile. Each half of Molten Strike/Frost blades is one or the other, and I can't think of any other attack skill that is neither.

The biggest problem with quest priest is that control decks can just straight up not attack you. If you can't trigger the quest your entire deck is a pile of cards that do nothing.
