GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

I started watching it the other day. Made it three episodes in before I hit my limit for gay sex scenes for the week. Going to still finish it tho, outstanding adaptation so far despite turning Louis' and Lestat's "will the won't they" homoerotic shit from the books into straight up softcore...

Can achieve a similar effect to the third person mousewheel view by hitting F9 twice, zooming out, alt+up/down. Doesn't take long to get into the habit of quickly cycling through camera angles to swap back and forth between first person and over-the-shoulder as needed

GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

Heck, Greyworm has done the best out of the whole cast really, landing that Louis de Pointe du Lac lead role in the new Interview With the Vampire series. Probably a lot of actors went after that role -- for comparison, Alexandra Daddario got the lead in its' sister series Mayfair Witches.

After this one got posted in the other thread, I decided to sit down at my keyboard and learn to play it. Did some reading about the group while I was at it. And found out something interesting about the members... Chynna Phillips is the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips from The Mamas &...

Chuk is butthurt that the other thread has "detailed" away from just being specifically about good songs that got overplayed so much they now they're bad.

90s songs that were OK the first time, but gave you cancer after they were played nonstop for months

Jagged Little Pill has a lot of songs that fit chuk's theme of this thread, really. Like half the album was on the radio at one point or another, and played once an hour for years. As long as I turn off that part of my brain, tho, can still dig it. I was pretty young when that album came out...

GBA version is best but a lot of people dislike it for the fact that the soundtrack isn't as good. There's patches to fix that tho if you're playing on emulator.

90s songs that were OK the first time, but gave you cancer after they were played nonstop for months

Getting off topic since they came out in the aughts, but there are only three truly good Radiohead albums -- Kid A, Amnesiac, and Hail to the Thief. The earlier albums have some good tracks but too much filler. The later albums get too far into pretentious fart sniffing. Hail to the Thief in...

90s songs that were OK the first time, but gave you cancer after they were played nonstop for months

I almost posted this one but thought it was an 80s song. Just googled it tho and it was released in February 1990. Genuinely love this song. Gets me very pumped

90s songs that were OK the first time, but gave you cancer after they were played nonstop for months

I don't think anyone's mentioned any Foo Fighters songs yet? Definitely got played a TON but maybe the fact that they're *still* so ubiquitous 30 years later makes us not associate them with the 90s anymore???

Lots of people don't recognize the title of this song but you've definitely heard it... "Well I finally found a reason I don't need an excuse, I've got this time on my hands, you are the one to abuse"

Anyone post Sugar Ray yet? Pretty ironic that their first album was titled 14:59 as a reference saying their 15 minutes of fame were almost up, considering how famous Mark McGrath has gotten as a TV personality lol

90s songs that were OK the first time, but gave you cancer after they were played nonstop for months

The title track wasn't a radio single, was it? (Also, btw, rad riff in 15/8 in the first couple verses! And slick change from 4/4 to 7/8 later in the song. Wouldn't even know it was odd time unless you counted it out. Tool, eat your heart out) "Drive," great as it is, was definitely overplayed.

Oh lol. I was only 10 years old when it came out, but I don't remember it at all being on American radio or on MTV. Despite remembering when I was a kid hearing pretty much 98% of the songs in this thread. Maybe it just didn't catch my attention, not much of a hook to it, the main appeal is...
