I'm in a self-congratulatory mood right now, so I just want to point out that, halfway through E3 conferences, I'm so far batting a thousand on predictions. Hope my streak continues, as the remainder are things I'd seriously love to see (well, aside from the 'too many battle royale' thing).

For those not familiar with MWC, no, Devolver didn't edit the trailer to make it look weirder than it actually is. If anything, they toned down the weirdness.

Didn't manage to catch the whole thing live, but that was a good note end on. I saw that announcement of the dev teams Microsoft bought; from that, I'm assuming my guess was correct, and there wasn't much in the way of actual first party titles ready yet. Now to go catch up on the stuff I missed.

What Microsoft needs is a first-party lineup that extends beyond Halo and Gears. I know they've been taking steps on that front, but I don't know if enough time has passed yet for any of it to bear fruit. I expect their conference next year will kick ass, but I'm not expecting a lot this year...
