I watched this last night and comparing it in any way to Inglorious Bastards is laughable. There's a ten second gun fight with klan members, the rest is vampire shit.
7/10 remake of From Dusk til Dawn, movie was most interesting in the first half.
You just unlocked a lot of new locations. Fly around some. I read that regular enemies in NG+ will drop upgrade mats up to 32 BUT don't rush to finish the game.
You can only get mats to max out 5 weapons per playthrough from optional bosses. The final upgrade changes one of the scalars to S...
Ut I think you don't understand how pictos or luminas work. Pictos themselves are accessories with stats (limit 3), and lumina are the skills you unlock by using them, which anyone can equip an unlimited amount of based on their point budget (the Lumina number on the lower right of equip...
It's pretty easy to hit 9999 in Act 1, which makes the meta multi-hit attacks until you beat the final Act 2 boss and get a Picto to break cap. At a low lumina cost of 5 points. As soon as I was able to go past the cap I was seeing numbers like 30k without changing my build at all. Then you can...
I tried fighting them today. Self heals 500k+ every single round if you don't perfect dodge/parry on Expedition difficulty. Attacks coming from every direction of the arena lol. Good luck in NG+.
When they talk about the dev team they are probably talking about contributing members who have a say in some of the decisions, work in house, etc. The eight Korean names above probably had no input and just got sent some design requirements for animation. Every business outsources in some...
In act 3 a creature will ask you to kill it. If you question why, you lose the option. If you don't do it, you miss out on a very good picto (auto powerful). I thought it was a weird interaction so I Googled it immediately after, had to reload the save.
Jumps and Gradient parries require the specific input. Normal attacks can be dodged or parried, but if you don't get used to parries eventually the later fights are going to take much longer. I have a lot of fights where the majority of my damage comes from counters with the picto that increases...
It feels more like a dodge window than a parry window most of the time. Like every other attack though it's mostly about memorizing and recognizing the tells.
I'm sure there are some really fucking broken builds as you get up into the crazy Lumina numbers. My best weapons are still level 20 and they go up to 33? I tried fighting the sky serpent thing and... Well, let's just say I don't even know where to start with that.
I'm around 22 hours and nearing what almost certainly is going to be a point of no return so I'm gonna do all the extra battles I skipped now.
Storyline weapon you get toward the end of act 2 is busted.
Lumen is designed by Epic for lighting in UE5. It actually looks really good, I remember when they updated Fortnite to use it the change was incredible. It is very taxing just like RT, however you don't need dedicated hardware to use it.
Locked frames at 60, set DLSS to balanced and now I'm getting a smooth performance with 75% GPU use on Epic preset. Feels pretty good now.
I am leaning toward the QTE being more beneficial to combat than not. Turn based gets so boring after a while.
Epic preset with DLSS quality gets me about 50fps on my 3070 but my GPU and VRAM are maxed out.
Out-of-my-ass assumption about the story based only on the prologue and expedition intro:
There's a lot of talk about and comparison to Tarkov but the reality is that Tarkov is unplayable for a lot of people since it isn't on console. Seems like Shroud had a lot of fun playing today, his chat was less enthused. Any time we've been able to compare metrics in Destiny, about two thirds...
Alpha download is only 6GB so it's not surprising the textures are all so flat. Doubt any of the visuals are actually finalized. I remember the Black Ops high res texture pack was like 45GB by itself? Seems like the first two maps are basically newbie yards. Will definitely jump in if I get an...
Bungie just lifted the alpha NDA so there should be more impressions coming next week. Quoting what they say will be available and not:

Magnetism, yeah. Bullet-bending within an invisible accuracy cone. They actually apply more to MNK because sticks already have the friction assist.
The first time they brought it up directly was when they were talking about nerfs to the Beyond Light preorder pulse rifle:
It's the same stat...
Destiny has more aim assist on mouse than it does on controller, the devs themselves have written multiple articles about how they handle it.
You are probably talking about reticle friction (when something moves in front of you and drags the reticle) which is not the same as aim assist.
