AD yi has always been able to do that late game if you let him get his farm. I've played with/against 3 or 4 yi's since the patch and haven't seen anything screaming nerf.

Do map drops inside maps get lower as you progress up the map tiers? So far i've run one 68, 3 or 4 66's and 3 or 4 67's but I only had one that I cleared with no map drops (the 68 kicked my ass and I didn't even get it half way cleared to get any drops). Leveling up a spork totem witch now...
