Hmm so far it isn't too bad. I ranked up renown, got some upgrades. I think there might be a limit on the number of flashpoints you can do, but I haven't seen it indicated anywhere yet.

Yea I like the cartel certificates, but to use them you need faction. The faction is easy to get but they limit the amount you can get per week. Of all the bad ideas in this game this is the worst. I think 12000 is the limit and just getting from champion to legend on any faction is 30k.

I had read somewhere that you could take old companions back through black talon to gain influence but it isn't working for me.

Yay new week, stupid reputation cap gone! 45 minutes later capped again. These caps are incredibly stupid. I was capped on 7 different reputations.

I hate weekly reputation caps, but love that they give you usable reputation boost items when you hit the cap. So when the "week" is over you can just use em all.

I haven't done them yet. Friends wanted to do all of them in order but we only got through 4 on friday.

Do you get more goodies if you do better on the racing? I got a perfect one time but I dunno why

I'm trying lightning spec sorcerer... it is very different from the other two. Having a hard time with it.

All the random stuff is based off the gear you are wearing. So you can buy or just put on higher gear from another character, and you'll supposedly get stuff around that. Hasn't been working for me as far as drops go. The renown boxes seem to drop near or slightly better.

I opened about 10 and eventually got a 280 implant, which was nice as my worst was 274. Small upgrades for other pieces. My overall rating is 278 now. Maybe that will get things going. All my gear is the blue variety now though, like the unmoddable kind. Except weapon and focus.
