Yeah. Animists + fins have let Hibs steam roll the server for keeps/relics. Albs/Mids would of caught up in a few days, but this might kill morale. Grouping is really fast exp, but no where near as easy as getting a large amount of people RvR ready like the zergs.

I'll see how the server feels after the change. I did some soloing on my cabby last night and it was fucking awful. If 8 mans are not plentiful I'll just cut my losses on this one. I have done the DAoC grind legit far to many times to stomach doing it again on a emu server.

It has been a great source of entertainment since the KS opened. Hypocrisy at its finest. Go start shit in the WoW, TESO, (insert any game that isn't EQ) threads and it is just them voicing their opinion. Do the same thing here and it is "trolling".

No doubt. 40+ back in the day was brutal as hell. Still though this gets you to the action very fast if you are not anti social. Couple days of active grouping and you should be in the frontier.

The way they do exp on this server is brilliant. Encourages grouping and socializing without being lazy and just turning on 50x exp or whatever.

I enjoy this quite a bit. Klaus and Elijah are awesome characters.

Kickstarter isn't the only funding they will be getting. I really doubt Brad plans to build a MMO on 800k alone. It is just a extra source of income for them, and the more they secure from KS the more they can likely get from other sources if my guess.

So if this does manage to get funded we will have a spiritual successor to Everquest, Ultima Online and Dark Age of Camelot all from KS. That does actually make me a bit nostalgic for the old days heh.
