Apparantly the prosecution can ask the judge to tell the jury to consider lesser included charges like manslaughter. So yes, it seems very possible that manslaughter could be a verdict if the jury just wants to punish someone. I don't think they have shown anything close to manslaughter yet...

Does that shit really work? I mean, if I'm a juror and a prosecution witness says the defendant's testimony was credible, that sure is going to bias me. Regardless of what a judge says after the fact.

So do we think Zimmerman is going to testify? With both detectives saying that they believed he was telling the truth, with the prosecutions failure to really discredit his statements much at all, I'm not sure he really should. Just would give a chance for the prosecution to try and trip him up.
