If iirc they built it from the ground up to be able to change values etc on abilties to work differently for pvp and pve. They also made it where pve raid gear wont be OP in PVP and vice versa. Kind of a wait and see. I would lean towards something will fuck up pve or pvp when it gets nerfed...

OPen world pvp like archage and those type of systems take time to flesh out imo. You don't get a true sense of it in alpha or betas with disposable toons. In all seriousness, if you enjoyed pvp in WoW you will enjoy it here if you like the combat system.
