I never bind turning to a key only strafe. Don't need to type mych in games so that really isnt an issue. Taking my hand off of the gamepad to type when i'm already taking it off the mouse isn't a big deal.

You bind movement to the thumbstick and your hotkeys are on the keypad. Once you get used to it you will never want to use a keyboard again. It's like the difference between using a controller or a mouse to play a FPS.
