I wonder if the reason we haven't gotten an X-Com 3 is because X-Com 2 + DLC still sells pretty well.

You joke, but that's the upside of inflation; it encourages purchases now, and discourages savings, which keeps demand high, and high demand keeps the labor market strong. Once the supply chain issues finally settle down, I would expect CPI to come down from where it is, but not as dramatically...

I bought 10k today. >20% of F500 companies are heavily dependent on Avaya Aura and related products in some way or another, and many of them have massive new projects already in motion. Even if they all decided to move off Avaya today, those projects would take at least 3 years to scope and...

Dialpad and Ringcentral are the best everyday cloudphone vendors for most normal companies, but if you have a complex call center operation with lots of IVRs and various integrations, you need to go with a product that you and third party vendors can develop your own solutions on top of, and...

Not exactly sure what you're trying to say here, but the entire first year of COVID I logged countless billable hours helping clients reconfigure their VPNs for softphones. People would do stuff like try to use dynamic NAT and that's just a big fucking nope.

No retroactive changes to the original HZD game files. Everyone uses the exact same image from the exact same prelaunch Youtube video showing non-gameplay footage. This is what Aloy actually looks like in HFW, in-game, in-engine: Considering that Alinity (who really does look like a man)...

Which of the horrible softphones was it? One-X Communicator? One-X Agent? Avaya Workplace and Avaya Agent for Desktop have actually gotten pretty acceptable (after 2+ years of customers beating up Avaya about how fucking bad they were during COVID.) To be fair, no one makes a really good...

    Horizon: Zero Dawn

The game is good, because you can make a lot of assumptions about what the plot is going to be when you start, and it still ends up surprising you exactly what path it takes to get there. It's obvious you're in a post-apocalypse from the start, and yet exactly what happens, and what different...

    Computer Issues

1.5 is the voltage standard for stock speed DDR3 memory, 1.65 is for overclocked memory. And yes, higher end XMP settings are technically an overclock. Also, did you repaste your CPU? From the screenshot, RAM is probably bad. You really need a new computer.

To be fair I avoided this game for over 3 years because the premise from merely looking at the advertising materials was dumb as fuck. Why? It has its own RAM, for one. It has it's own cooling system, for two. It has its own power delivery and voltage regulation, for 3. So it's basically a motherboard + RAM + a large massively parallel processor.
