Bow with fire enchantment can do it with wooden arrows even. Arrows being ideal since aiming at the pools too close makes them flee the pool, whereas bow they'll just sit there dying. Stone trader goes unlimited you mean, town Smith never does. She does after Iron Keep is clear.

Also questions of my own. Anyone found a purpose to mundane enchantment and anyone found a permanent light like the helm in DS2? Carrying a torch fulltime sucks but is so helpful so many areas...

Hammer dudes in the poison area drop basic ones a ton. Especially with Covetous Gold Ring +1 if you farm them after Mytha. Beyond basics see above. Drop rate is steady there but not insane like the hammer dudes though

Poise isn't really a PVE stat for the most part. Certainly not early on.

BTW on the no deaths ring... Ring of Life Protection seems likely to trivialize it as long as you keep 3k available.

I did it personally to have the other held to continue later. Plus extra chars allows screwing with multiple covenants while focusing the char towards it, etc. Plus he may have wasted some Pharros Stones or lost too many souls on lost bloodspots with respawns out in the areas he's comfy...

No attainment to load a spell with 6 attainment. So you'd be limited to 1 spell if you get the spell slot ring eventually... Not very practical. I'm sure some fraction will do it, but it's leagues harder than DS1 to SL1. Probably 1 percent or less did in DS1 and probably 1 percent of them...

SL1 won't happen is DS2 barring a few crazy Japanese. Only SL1 class can't use Pyromancy to cover mask gear and stat weakness.

Adaptability is the only stat that seems overly easy to ignore compared to its value - the rest as Lenas said is pretty much "look at what you want to use" then base it off them with extra stats going into the stats your preferred weapons (or FTH/INT if you're magicking) B/A/S improvement level...

Interesting surprised the boss rat wouldn't react the same.

Kept getting stunlocked from the mass adds trying that way and kiting they never wanted to separate.

Bombs once you spawn the boss lock on it (tint is different) and just keep bombing kills it quick plus most of the adds without breaking a sweat. Fireballs could work too probably but still don't have a pyro flame yet. (Got spells from the petrified chick though)
