I chose this over Patriot Day because I grew up in the 508 and Marky Mark is a terrible representation of Eastern Massachusetts, and I made a mistake. I have anxiety and usually I can skate through a horror/thriller movie no problem. This was not one of them.

Spectral - 7/10 (good action, strong male lead, cool technology, interesting concept, a little campy and heavy-handed with plot dialogue but it works). Sidenote: Netflix is the way of the future. Hollywood is a cemetery of empty plots waiting to be filled.

Hateful Eight - 9/10 (Amazing Dialogue, Interesting Characters, Fun Violence, Good Atmosphere. Ended too early).

I really don't think Hemingway ever tried to be popular. I think he used writing as a coping mechanism for the things that he wanted to do in life, but couldn't.

I think they said that he believed in the Cause, or hated the Empire. I don't know. I saw this pretty buzzed and enjoyed it because I pictured it as a sci-fi war movie not a star wars movie.

A Farewell to Arms is one of Hemingway's better novels. In my experience people either love him or hate him.

This type of movie is what happens when you get a group of guys together who have too much money, inflated egos and the desire to make even more money by pumping their movies with fan service.

I can agree to this. I liked the first few. But, these movies are like a modern, cinematic version of penny dreadfuls. Weird kids in highschools a hundred years from now are going to love them and everyone will wonder why.

What did you guys use to learn how to plot a story? I am having a lot of trouble seeing if I am able to increase the jeopardy of the Hero's goals as the story goes on.

So, just a tip for anyone trying to learn a foreign language. If you can convince a friend, relative, spouse to learn with you then try to speak only in that language with them. Figure out; "What does that mean?" And "How do you say ____?" I used those two phrases more than anything else...

Hacksaw Ridge - 6/10 (Holier than Thou, Bad Male Lead, Confusing Message, 2 Movies in 1). Rogue One - 7/10 (Cool Visuals, Fun, Good Female Lead, Good Male Lead, Too Much Fan Service). Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - 7/10 (Cool Visuals, Fun, Good Male Lead, Bad Female Lead).

That's kind of the writing. I think all of them start slow (season 3 sticks out for some reason). I think some of the female characters were thrown in to pull in female viewers. But, I'm not convinced there is anything wrong with that.
