I think book 3 was just a little long because of how much detail he was trying to impart about The Tangle. It was all nonsensical no matter what so it was wasted story. I still like the book though.

There is no hill to die on here. I don't think anyone would argue with you. Diddy Kong racing was one of the best games on N64 period, cross genre. That game was a goddamn masterpiece. Late SNES into N64 RARE was the greatest game development studio maybe ever.

The only system that had a better game lineup than SNES, as a whole, was Playstation. But the N64 comes in third in my opinion.
