Watched one episode, very meh. Humor is very much modern Simpsons, and falls far short of Simpson pre-season 10 or Rick and Morty. Fairly generic fantasy and character types.

Bosch is a pretty good cop show like the wire (although not as good), and they re-use a lot of wire actors: Marlo, Levy, Gus Haynes, Daniels, Ziggy Sobotka etc.

with this kind of team of AAA game devs and critics how can they fail?

finished watching it, pretty good overall. definitely seemed the only one who truly learned something and came out better was Mrs Stork, the lady with the kids, even though she was pretty crazy too.

watched a few episodes, definitely not what it used to be. characters seemed over the top this time, and interactions just disjointed. like when michael meets the family again was just cringey and not in a funny way.

so far the only mildly interesting game seems to be cyberpunk2077, the rest is basically just IPs that should have been ended a long time ago.

Didn't FOH really start way back in Ultima Online although under a different name? I remember Krurk taking over FOH with Furor quitting for a while, and was summarily kicked out with Furor coming back? The epic flame wars on the original noows forum, especially with Dark Age of Camelot...

but that's how it works in essentially every RPG, one figures out that 80% of the spells are worthless and in the end you use 4-5 of them over and over.

Loot was disappointing in DOS2 as well. This game has way more variety in gameplay, and world exploration. Thus far, playing with only story characters, this game is way harder than DOS2, which was easy on hardest difficulty and lone wolf.

The enemy ship combat AI feels kind of dumb/random, some weird decisions made there. Pillars of eternity 1 and likely 2 is definitely solo-able, even on hardest, but as with BG, it requires quite a bit of detailed game knowledge or will take a long time to solo. There's no "solo option" like in...
