Stat squish has killed that era of leveling. Low-to-Mid level mobs are improperly squished. Shit like -20% health and -10% damage to the NPCs while players got -90% damage and -50% survivability. The first trash pack of instances is wiping groups in full heirloom gear now.
Wrong emphasis, the game'll be what they plug you into while you're on life support! And it will have PVP with Real Consequences, in order to keep Medicare costs down...
Netrunner, Jyhad, Magic, hell, even Battletech's initial set-up was good, except for the dice. The expansion derpsign team did a pretty good job of wrecking it, adding even more dice-reliant shit.
Dice in CCGs; Not Even Once.
I keep looking at my alt whose 4 secrets and 12 runestones away from being finished and just assuming the RNG gods will shit on me and I'll miss it by 1 runestone. the week before patch. The weird thursday expansion drop means you have 6 shots at it including this week.
They'll get a tier of being broken in order to keep them from quitting over their mechanical changes, and in order to pad their ranks with FOTM rerollers so that Celestalon can say "See, people love the new warrior design!"
And then nerf the shit out of it in the second tier.
Or they'll...
Instead of having the "newbie experience" for boosted 90s in the expansion only available after determining your boost, it should be the basic newbie intro. Pick a class, get set to 90, get sent to Noob Prison Island with no way off, play around, see if you like it, at the end of the quest...
First two days of MoP launch were fantastic for the cloud serpent faction. Tons of people in Jade Forest, so the "spawn more interactibles" code was spamming eggs, but 99.9% of people weren't level cap, so no flying=no competition for upper egg spawns, so you were flying around grabbing eggs as...
Yep, there are plenty of good players named xXRaPeUrBuTtXx. We've had some on our raid team over the years. Generally it's not the playskill that creates the "Nope" response, but the 14-year-old-pvp-kid-except-actually-32-years-old-and-should-really-be-over-this-shit personality that seems to...
You get enough materials from your followers to support occasional crafting, but not enough to support continuous use. Ore/Herbs per recipe are up over previous expansions to compensate for the fact that everyone has herb/ore income.
It is still extremely helpful to have a Mining/Herbalism...
I love terrible names, and they should never be forced to change or remove them. They tell me instantly who not to invite to group. Got tildes, accents, and ampersands? Rape featured prominently? Sweet, auto-filtering.
To keep them from quitting over the playstyle changes.
Piss them off with playstyle changes, try to settle them down by TOPPIN MEETAHS.
They'll be nerfed safely after they've purchased their $50 expansion boxes.
It wasn't exactly difficult, but I remember being super happy when I finished my Burning Rapier.
Rogue quests were good quests.
Paladin Quests though...
To this day, every time they ask for random questions about quests, I ask if the second half of the Holy Partisan of Underfoot quest...
There is a universal constant wherein time and space conspire to make people look like asshats. Bitch, and your bitching shall be made irrelevant and awkward shortly thereafter.
It is a very handy thing when it comes to games of all sorts!
Only thing we ever deny our pugs is the HWarforged piece when it upgrades a main's Heroic piece (Which is rare, but we're still trying to finish out a few of the HW trinkets, so there'd be blood in the water otherwise). And Garrosh shoulders if that shit ever fucking drops. And we tell them...
Merriam looks to have lucked into his best in-cut match-up for the first round of top 8. 10 X/1s, no reclamation sages. Heavy on the Hornet Queens. Doomwakes should do work. It'll be interesting after-board, with a full 4x Setessan Tactics.
Is 2.4 Ninjas? Tried to play again when they did the free month earlier this year, but flopping around like a fish on dry land from back to side to back to side to back to side for alternating positional requirements on melee attacks was obnoxious. Ninja sounded more combination-focused...
Also, all but like 2 fights this tier have multiple targets in them, so the cleave specs will tend to place higher on real DPS than the single target sims. ChiEx Monk vaults up the chart the moment it has something to Earth Wind and Fire (especially advantageous when the multiple targets can't...
I want to see someone just build Attack Speed and Life Steal on him and try to live forever off of jungle creeps/lane minions/enemy champions after triggering his passive.
